Well, fall has arrived and it’s time for our October chat thread. This is the sixth monthly chat we’ve had on the site. Thought about using a Burning Man photo for this month, but decided to continue with the Adam getting awards theme with this photo of Adam and Leila at the 2nd annual PFLAG National LA Event.

Still hoping for a new single sometime soon, but maybe not this month. Enjoy the chat!

I should think Adam would be more creative than to do the vampire thing again. He did a pirate. Hmmm … pondering.

Adam has been following my lead in terms of some of his fashion choices. I’ve been wearing Top Hats, ankle length coats and carrying walking sticks for years. So, Adam should go for the Aristocratic Fop look that I’ll be approximating this Halloween. This is going to be a real stretch for me.

There is news this morning of the horrific killing of Stuart Walker, a 28 year old man in Scotland who happens to be gay. He was killed very similiarly to Matthew Sheppard. I am sickened by this no matter what the reason and pray that the people who did this will be caught. I can’t imagine the pain his family and friends are going through.

Such a sad, sad event in Scotland. I do hope they capture those responsible soon. My heart goes out to his loved ones, hoping they can find some comfort to make it through these days and weeks ahead. It is impossible for me to comprehend the mindset necessary to commit these acts against another person.

Thank you jlurksacto and AL for posting those videos. The Adam’s Glamily is always fun. I had not seen the full concert vids from the Party City event either. As good as it was, his growth as a performer is very evident in these videos.

I’d like to amend my statement on the awesomeness of the leopard pants. I did not like the look with the t-shirt and jacket, but I would love them with the asymmetrical black shirt.

I am so excited about these collaborations for this album that I think I have gained some more patience while waiting!
I hope that this album and the creative process is everything Adam wants it to be.

Hi nkd …totally agree with you about the leopard pants outfit. A black shirt would have been perfect.Especially that loose one you are referring to. And I really like those boots!!! Came home after a long day and found my peace pendant here…I just happened to be wearing a plain black knit boatneck top, and gotta say the pendant (silver on the black cord) looks stunning. Thanks to all here who encouraged purchase and even sent pics of themselves wearing it (that would be you, nekkid!). Very glad I bought it after all.

Calgary, I’m sorry we didn’t meet you in Hawaii last year but there is always next year. About this time a year ago I was in the lobby picking up my show tickets. I had purchased tickets earlier at home on Ticketmaster but they weren’t real good seats. I found this site earlier called Seat-geek where you can see all the resale tickets available. Once in Hawaii and going online I discovered that I could pick up some really great seats for very little. I then purchased new tickets for the show with seats row 6 for one show and row 4 for the second one. My only regret was I was on the opposite side from Goatie and Mils and PPofP and her husband John. I made friends with some Japanese fans and folks there were very friendly. This was my first time seeing the show up close and as many of you know it was hard to take your eyes off of Adam. It was like he had a hypnotic power. Mils if your out there I hope we get to do something fun like this on his next tour. Off to watch the show vids.

Hmmm, quiet here tonight! jojosie I thought we had decent seats – middle, middle, until we got there and saw how much space there was between the rows. Here at home in our concert hall, ROW K is fabulous, but there we were kind of far back. Lucky for us though, no one in front of us stood up so we had a perfect view. And then we stood and danced for the whole show, after I said I wouldn’t ever stand for that long! And when Adam looked out into the crowd, of course he was staring straight at us LOL!
