    I haven’t reallly been listening to the new stuff. Just on my phone and what’s posted here. True, my time for just listening is less and less this year, for personal reasons….BUT

    I had a major tech fail. UGH

    I’m a dinosaur. I listen to CD’s while I drive. LOUD. At 11.

    I don’t stream. I don’t Netflix. I don’t Amazon music. Etc. Not because I’m afraid of tech or can’t learn how, but because of my dread of going down the rabbit hole and never coming up for air!!!

    That’s why I listen in my car. Great audio. And I’m getting my life done. Not stuck in a media rabbit hole.

    Anyway

    I got my Velvet in a very timely fashion from Amazon. No problem , right??

    Happily skipped with my heart beating and stuck it in my player. expecting my dashboard and my ears and soul to be humming….annnnd….NOTHING.

    Dammmmmit!!!!!!!

    I needed to have an appointment at the Toyota dealership…a week later…needed to order whole new radio/player system…several conversations with several mature staff about feeling like a media dinosaur…many laughs….2 weeks later it’s installed…

    Have been enjoying Velvet Side A every time I’m out and about. For the first time I genuinely like every song. I’m not skipping anything. I know the words. I do believe this is his best work.

    Now. He needs to get better. Get in high gear and promote the ever loving SH*T out of this opus.

    He has never sounded or looked better.

    He needs to be in a movie.
    He needs to get on Kelly Clarkson’s show.
    He needs a cameo on Will and Grace.

    Oops.

    I just made a list.
    Been a while.

    Just watching “Queen & Adam Lambert” on Sky Arts, absolutely brilliant programme, fans of both must see this! Queen are legends obviously, but #AdamLambert is on the same level. What an amazing performer he is, I’m sure Freddy approves!
