Have been without internet for most of the week as the association cut our Uverse cable planting a tree. Grrrr.
Saw the movie with hubby on Friday and we both liked it. Like some, I thought Rami’s frequent fidgeting with the teeth was a little too noticeable, but I got over it and got into the story. Also, Rami’s light eyes, as someone else mentioned.
Loved Adam’s subtle sly come-hither backwards glance as he enters the M E N’s room, signaling to us that already Freddie had begun dallying with men. Nice that he got a meaningful cameo, not just a face in the crowd.
My FAVORITE scene: Showing the reviews of BoRhap at its release. Some things never change!
Cannot believe the arrogance of some reviews! That Forbes guy, labeling it an LGBTQ movie, FFS. I think they set out to make a movie about their music, how the band came together and created, and to honor Freddie’s part. I don’t think it was to be specifically a Freddie biopic, hence the title being a SONG, instead of Mercury. I’m LOVING the triumph of this little $55 million movie in the face of the know-it-alls!
So Adam has that performance on the 8th at the SAG awards, then the NPR San Diego thing on Dec 12th. And then, something in the U.K. Wonder if they’re doing NYE again? Or maybe one of the TV talk shows, Graham Norton, Jools Holland, Jonathon Ross again….

My oldest daughter and her friend went to see the movie this weekend and they loved it. She said she doesn’t trust anything critics say anymore. She can’t figure out how they could say anything negative about it.
