    At the Park Theater, it’s time for the Crown Jewels Concert with Queen and Adam Lambert. Having grown up
    listening to my parents play Queen on the weekends, it’s incredible to see these songs performed live. Adam Lambert, who I know is talented but have never been super impressed with before, blows me away. he knows he’ll never be Freddie but that doesn’t stop him from making the music his own, giving a captivating performance.

    So Adam Lambert will be back in the UK for more appearances before the year is out. After I found out Robbie has tour commitments coming up then someone has to stand in for him on X Factor. So Adam may well do one or two eps of X Factor judging for him. Nile Rodgers is as well.

    Loved the movie!!! It definitely had some flaws but it succeeded despite them or maybe because of them. Our theatre had several folks in their 70’s who looked like they hadn’t been to a movie theatre in a long time. And most of them clapped at the end of the movie.
    The first thing I said to my hubby and son after all the credits were finished was “why didn’t Rami wear colored contacts? Freddie’s eyes weren’t light.” My son said maybe he couldn’t emote as much if he did. Or maybe they bothered him. But in reading the article about things that are wrong in the movie, I thought of another reason and one I’d like to believe is a reason and that is because Queen’s new lead singer has light eyes and he should be accepted just as Rami has been accepted and has brought parts of Freddie back to life. I know- far fetched but, until the true reason comes to light, that’s the one I choose to believe!!

    Saw Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday in an I-Max theater. My two friends and I loved it. I would go back and see it again, which I probably will.We had a hard time not standing up and clapping to We Will Rock You or Radio Ga Ga. It was exciting, fun and sad.The casting was superb, especially Brian May’s character.We all left feeling very emotional.
