My daughter (the one I took to Vegas #1) and granddaughter loved BoRhap. And today, my cardiologist (who follows my QAL concert adventures) said he went with wife and both loved it too.
We talked about the timeline issues and the supposed “straightwashing” of Freddie, and he just pooh-poohed critics. We agreed that it’s entirely possible that in 1985, just coming from his months of “good times” in Munich, Freddie could have already been feeling early signs of illness, told his band mates, and put off an actual doctor visit until 1987 out of sheer fear. And he said they could never show the worst in the film, fans would have crucified the movie. He loved that they made it about the band and the music, going back for a second look.

Jason Mamoa first came to my attention when Wonder Woman was in the theater. Then there were a few articles on him including his marriage to Lisa Bonet and other little tidbits about his life.
IMO he is one sexy man and although they are totally different their is some resemblance to Adam and I guess that is why he is my new crush. Can’t wait for “Aquaman”.

Everyone I know who went to see BoRhap loved the movie, even those who weren’t especially fans back in the day. One friend who is a Queen fan almost didn’t go because of the bad reviews. I told him to go, so he took his kids and they all loved it. He couldn’t understand the reviews because the film definitely dealt with his partying and sex life. Both he and his kids knew all of the songs except Hammer To Fall. He really only knew Freddie, so he was very glad that he got to know the other members and realized that it really was a group effort and not just the front man and a backing band.
