I finally went to see Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday. I was waiting until adamized was back in town so we could see it together. We both loved it! The acting was superb and the story was well told. I loved the sound track too! (Duh!) Hidden gems for me were G. Lee’s uncanny portrayal of Brian May and the amusing portrayal of Freddie’s cats. I had no idea that Freddie was such a cat lover. Last night I googled Freddie’s cats and found out that he had as many as 10 cats at one point. I would have gotten along with him quite well!

It kinda sucks seeing your fav work so hard just to be overshadowed by a movie, which is great and all but like the movie has so much attention and is popularizing queen again, i guess i just assumed people would take a second and appreciate what adam has done for the band by now
Lots of people defending Adam, as the MM fans are attacking him everywhere, especially on QAL YouTubes and tweets about the movie
This is my opinion, of course, but I feel that Adam is 100% responsible for the success of BR. This might be a stretch but Adam brought Queen back for the world to appreciate. I never would have seen BR movie if Adam wasn’t connected with Queen. And I think many others would feel the same. And it isn’t even that he’s in it for 10 seconds…Brian has said it…”we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Adam”. And to me that includes the 300 million dollar movie success.
(well, maybe not 100% but you know what I mean).

FYI He is no longer with Queen Extravaganza, just came out with album of Queen covers called Thunderbolt & Lightening, (has no original music), and tours his own Queen show called The Ultimate Queen Celebration. His fans think most, if not all, the singing on movie is him lol.

On Veteran’s Day we had a car accident, totaled it. Not our fault. A guy ran a red light. Fortunately, nobody hurt. Only some bruises. We got a new car and now out of town to spend time with family. Internet is slow here.
