Following Adam’s favorite time of the year, he continues to promote TOH around the world. First, a concert close to home at the Napa Vineyards and then a few events in China before heading to Paris. He wraps up the month in Texas starting his onslaught of Xmas radio performances. I’m tired just reading about his travels!

    I just saw a very good documentary about Nile Rogers, and it looked like it was made very recently. They talked about his collaborations with Pharrel Williams and with Avici. While discussing the collab with Avici, Lay Me Down was playing in the background. Of course, no mention was made of the singer because Avici NEVER credits his singers Really Angry. I know that Nile adores Adam and keeps in contact with him. Probably, even if he mentioned Adam in one of the interviews, the producers would have left it on the cutting room floor because Adam isn’t a big enough star to be mentioned in the limited time they haveBig Frown.

    Funny you should mention Nile RS…..will see him tomorrow…they’re performing at Clockenflap again this year…they were brilliant 2 years ago when we saw them.

    When I first saw about this petition, I was…oh no poor Adam, there’s always something to kick him down…..but I’m happy now to see the counter petitions, and the press seems pretty balanced and on point, not all sensationalised. Is that a word?

    OK, WHY does Adam always fight these battles alone??????
    That defender of LGBT rights Elton John is performing there Dec. 1 and 2, will he say anything? I love Brian May, but animals aren’t the only ones needing support. Can’t expect anything from SS, he runs the other way as fast as possible at the mere hint of gay, attends no events, supports only himself.
    Nile just landed in Singapore, will he mention Adam?
    Thank goodness for WB, at least they back their artist instead of just remaining silent. Grrrrrrrr.

    Love your rant, riskylady. Could be Elton & SS don’t have AMA type situations in their background that they are accepted. I don’t know.

    They could still be supportive IMHO.
    They’re sitting around saying, “Serves him right, for being sexual while gay.”
    You can beat up your girlfriend, do drugs, shoot up bars in brawls, deny AIDS and possibly have contaminated others but DO NOT BE SEXUAL WHILE GAY. It may even be contagious.

    Riskylady Hooray for your rant. Re: Elton John, I think he should cancel if Singapore doesn’t back down. Admittedly the AMA’s were probably a bad choice but who doesn’t make mistakes. I think an older Adam would put on a much better performance. But, the question still remains: Why does Adam always fight these battles along?

    mils, commenting on your post from yesterday. I do watch Scream Queens although I’m back logged about 5 episodes. It is a fun show. Very campy. At first I didn’t think it was “all that” but I gave it a second look and like it.

    Yes, GaGa is amazing in AHS! I would bet anything she’ll be up for an emmy.

    LOL, that song X’s&O’s…Hated it at first but really like it now. I hear people at work singing it all the time. And a bit of trivia here. Did you know the girl singer (can’t think of her name) is comedian Rob Schneider’s daughter? She was on DWTS finale the other night (might be on youtube) and you can see the resemblance.

    Frustrated for Adam that he has to continue to fight these ridiculous battles in 2015, but I feel like this Singapore thing is a tempest in a teapot. But it has captured the Singapore and Asian media’s attention, so is generating lots of chatter. Unfortunately Adam is caught in the cross hairs of what sounds like a cultural divide in Singapore.

    riskylady I understand your frustration about Adam fighting this battle alone, but I seriously doubt that there is any significant awareness of this tempest outside of Singapore and Adam’s fandom. So I have no expectations that any other celebs will say anything about it.

    That inquisitor article is actually a great article ulti, very supportive of Adam, and characterizes those opposed to Adam as ridiculously hateful homophobes who are so blinded by their hate that they can’t see how lucky they are to have a performer of his caliber come their way.

    I hate to see that kind of slobbering vitriol directed at Adam, though. He’s so beautiful and loving and sweet and kind, with so much thoughtful intention and integrity. It hurts my heart. Frown

    On another, more positive, note – I’m super pleased that Terrance will be doing background vocals for Adam’s tour. That’s very cool. I love Terrance, and I love him and Adam onstage together. And that DaniLeigh that Terrance is rehearsing with has a lovely voice and is quite beautiful. There’s going to be a lot of pretty onstage!
