Following Adam’s favorite time of the year, he continues to promote TOH around the world. First, a concert close to home at the Napa Vineyards and then a few events in China before heading to Paris. He wraps up the month in Texas starting his onslaught of Xmas radio performances. I’m tired just reading about his travels!

    Looks like he’s making the tats symmetrical on his hands. Doubt the red is ink, it’s blood. Yuck. And double yuck.

    I like that his tats aren’t colored ( except eye of horus and infinity ), they are more graphic and stylized as black and white, IMHO.

    Love the john Oliver thing, I usually watch his show, but was pre-occupied with Paris this past weekend. He is pure snark, pure sass, which I enjoy, he just skewers everything with a sword of truthiness.

    What I loved about it was that he talked about Adam, made fun of him and mentioned him as a huge star without any qualifiers. Hardly any other media included him in their coverage of single’s day. It’s all good. I mean,honestly, that version of GT was quite OTT. Wasn’t it? IMHO.

    Don’t get me wrong, I loooevered it, love OTT Adam, and then some, but it was quite a show!!!

    So, he’s in London. One of his favorite cities, wonder who he’s hanging out with?

    When will they talk about his Paris show?

    Speaking of Paris, as we mentioned yesterday, so many people are not up on the news, at work today, NOBODY , and I mean NOBODY talked about Paris, unless I brought it up.

    It left me dumb-founded.

    A close friend of my sons and my nephews was at the stadium, there is an article about him in today’s newspaper here. He’s going to school in Paris.

    6 degrees…

    I don’t even know what to think or say about my co-workers. These are educated young men and women. I don’t get it.

    mils my daughter just came home from work and said the opposite. She said everyone wanted to talk about it. Of course it probably helps that she works for the government.

    My husband loves watching John Oliver so I have seen a few of his shows….sometimes he’s good……China would never choose 4/4 as the date….they don’t do the number 4 as it sounds like the word for death. Many buildings do not even have a 4th floor…

    We have the largest Bastille Day celebration in the world, outside of Paris, in our city. There is a mini Eiffel Tower put up each year as part of the festival.

    It was just put up outside city hall today as a symbol of standing with Paris.

    ulti, you’ll be happy to know that GT video now at 42.5MM while DL’s Confident is only at 37MM. Grin

    So ALN got 12 HAC adds today plus the 18 early ones makes 30, plus 2 more early Top40 today plus the other 4 makes 6 early Top40! Tomorrow’s Top40 adds should be interesting.

    “Keeping things “real” though… The FYE music video is still my favorite to date. This one is good and the intentions are wonderful but it doesn’t knock my socks off either. I realize that others really like it though. I personally expect more edge and more Adam hotness. “There I Said It”. I think Adam has a tendency to over think things and invite half the world to send a message. Ah well…Eventually he will hopefully realize that he has every right to be the center of attention and collective gasping lol. I will keep supporting this video though as I really like the song and the new album. The title track of “The Original High” should be his defining song.”

    I agree with mils, the John Oliver thing was good publicity, substantially linking Adam to the 11/11 event better than most articles where he was just mentioned. John showed the pic twice, mentioned his name twice as a star. So even though his first comment was snarky, the visibility was a good thing. The second one he called him a “bethroned Adam Lambert” and said the Chinese out-Americad America. In more ways than one with respect to Adam!!!

    I pretty much agree with Ultimathule’s Posted comment from 11:02 last night. As I’ve mentioned many times ALN never connected with me…wasn’t fierce enough for me…until the video. Then I liked it a bit more.
    I don’t count, however. Want it to be a huge hit! I will support it in all ways possible.

    TOH is my jam!
