Mystery solved about Adam’s suit at Make-A-Wish. Btw, soooo happy they raised record amount. It was mentioned on Miami Herald’s “People” page yesterday, again including Adam’s name in the write-up.

Hi guys, I have two bits of news.
– I have a brand spanking new super over the top baby Glambert in my life. OMG. We went kinda cray today. The thing is she adores his voice, it makes her “legs quiver.” Oh. And all she ever has heard, and still listens to is Idol performances and studio recordings.
That’s right.
She is so over the top in so many other ways, that I just sent her some very choice links. You know, FS, LA finales, Cologne, Amsterdam, Oslo, Rock My Town, Brisbane. Stay, Is This Love and OOL. I have not even started on interviews, photos, and gifs. No Queen yet either. I’m saving it. She might implode.
— I just heard from Mieps. She’s in Chicago tonight and headed my way tomorrow for dinner and Glee. Yay!!
Only 24 hours until Adam’s debut on Glee! The tantalizing tidbits and sneak peeks we’ve been getting over the past week have really added to the excitement. I’ll be watching the show on a giant screen at adamized’s viewing party. Sparkle will be there along with my closest friend, and some of adamized’s friends who are Glee fans. Adamized and I aren’t sure how we’re going to keep it together and maintain some semblance of dignity while watching Adam’s OTT performance of MTN on that big screen TV. My friend knows what a nutcase I am over Adam and loves me anyway, but adamized’s friends have no idea how afflicted she is. We’ll have to sit behind the others and communicate the worst of our flailing with eye signals. This should be fun! Our other local ALL’ers were not able to make it, so I decided to hold off on making the Luxor bread pudding until we have a bigger ALL contingent. I made chocolate chip cookies with Ghirardelli chocolate instead. Still very yummy! See you all tomorrow night!

Okay, so last night a friend took me to a concert, Amos Lee. At our beloved Riverside theater. His opener was Kat Edmondson, who was very quirky and sweet. Kind of reminded me of Zooey Deschanel, with She and Him.
Anyway, Amos was very popular with the crowd, has played here many times, knew many local sights, and seems to have matured from small clubs and now is playing bigger and more respectable venues. He is pretty famous now.
Except I just didn’t care for his country twang.
Especially when he came back for a very special encore.
I am still cleaning out my ears. I don’t have enough Q-Tips or the proper method yet.

Will Adam Jr be keeping you company?
I finally caught up with Ellen, and I can only imagine Twitter afterwards. So funny.
Oh yes, Adam Jr is always here with me although he might have to be replaced by Adam II. Junior is becoming almost unrecognizable! Someone from a time long ago and far away! (actually only 4 yrs).
So this is how I discovered my new over the top Adam fan. She is somebody I have “soul-connected” with at work. I don’t see her more than once a week or so, but, I swear, we were either sisters or close friends in a past life. It’s actually giving us both goosebumps all the time. She’s zany, artistic, writes music, and just has a joyful aura.
So,we were catching up, and talking music, and she mentioned that she has a huge John Denver thing, because of the absolute clarity of his voice and his song writing skills.
Like I said, we just connect. So. I asked her if she had ever watched Idol. Yes. But not in a couple of years. So I coyly took out my pics, and she went absolutely berserk!!!!!!!!
She was literally listening to Mad World and having her family and boyfriend listen to it yesterday. All her friends and family, her teens, love love love him. But. Don’t have his CD or know anything he has done since Idol.
We went on and on about his inner beauty, his aura of positivity, and got into a discussion about a chemical reaction that is triggered when a voice like his is heard. She said the only other voice that has done this for her is John Denver’s.
However, when you combine Adam’s voice with his outer beauty, his charity work, his LGBT advocacy, the total package becomes overwhelming.
We watched and listened to WWTLF on her phone. She was positively weak in the knees. Her boyfriend is also a huge fan.
I sent her a lot of stuff, and can’t wait to see her again.
Oh I know luval. He doesn’t look like that at all anymore. The look he has matured into now is just so … stunning.
luval- I wish you could be here with us too. You’ll have to join us when we have a big enough group for an Adam/bread pudding party. After all, you found the recipe.
