November finds Adam starting out the month with a rather exclusive gig at “Live in the Vineyard” in Napa, California, followed later on in the month by his first concerts in South Africa. Recent information hints that these concerts could be the unofficial start of a potential upcoming Trespassing tour, but we’ll have to wait and see about that.

Had a hard time finding a good photo this month – I’m not a fan of the Glampire pix this year so had to look for other pics. Eventually decided on a slightly pensive look for Adam, from the Arizona State Fair concert. Hope you like it.

Unfortunately, I am not as politic as cwm and some other people here. The worst thing imho was her own sense of importance or potential importance:

On a freezing day in the middle of winter in Toronto, Adam stopped and talked to me and 3 friends for almost a full 5 minutes on the sidewalk, taking pictures and signing my newspaper, even though it was clear that he was not dressed for the weather and a not used to the cold. I once saw him take individual pictures with several women and, when he obliged the last one by taking off his sunglasses, he patiently re-took individual pictures with the others all over again because they wanted one without sunglasses, too.

I once saw him ask a fan who had met him before how things were going, in a way that indicated he remembered her from a prior encounter, knew that she had had a problem and was wondering if she was okay.

He’s as nice, if not nicer, than most celebrities and certainly doesn’t deserve being singled out for not wanting his picture taken with drinks in his hand and not knowing what to do with them.”

I’ve been thinking. This whole fiasco reminds me of a boss I just abhorred, and no longer work for. It was many years ago. She had a catch-phrase that she would trot out and use in meetings and in performance reviews.

“Perception is Reality.”

Doesn’t that just make your skin crawl? It makes mine, to be sure. But, in relation to this Traub chick, her perception of the incident is what spurred her to write what she did. Whether or not it was factual or inflated for press purposes, or done just to make hits on her blog, her perception is her reality.

Ellesay had very good points, so did all of you. Just thinking that those Gokey trolls are glomming on to this makes me want to stay away even more.

I’m not giving her the hits. TLKC, you go girl! Loved this post.

Even in Des Moines, he came to the fence not once, but twice. He made sure every single person who wanted to meet him or have something signed, did. He saw more fans and came back. Who else does this! And the story of the radio station driver who took him to the airport the next day was so funny, but so true and so Adam. He’s virtually nice to everybody, “on” or “off” stage.

And, the two beers in your hands situation is one most of us can relate to. It means that he was willing to go out and stand in line and get the beers. Then he was willing to make his way back to a waiting friend, who was thirsty for the beer. He also wanted to get back and not miss a second of his friends performing. He probably didn’t want to spill any beer either, which we can all relate to as well!

These type of stories are probably written about every celebrity, as I’m sure there are always people that don’t get what they think they deserve from them. We don’t know about these other stories because the blogs are so obscure that hardly anyone reads them and we only know of this one because we find out everything said or written about Adam. ETA I guess there are those that search out Adam articles so they can say negative things. That’s such a waste of time and energy.

I never read comments on 24/7 anymore. I stopped a long time ago. Some of those frequent posters there have their heads up their arses. They are uninformed and immature.

I remember I stopped reading there after Adam went to the RuPaul party {{cough-“poncho”-cough }} and there were pictures of him with Queens and trannies, oh my, and they were posting that he was was “with” women. They really thought those were women. There was one pic of one of the RuPaul ladies sitting on his lap, and, oh my, the comments. Sauli was fresh at that time, and the Adommy crays were in full force.

I posted that that gal was a dude, and a shitstorm developed.

They just don’t get “it.” So I left.

I’m a believer in Karma-like theories. The negative energy they put out into the world will come back to them someday, in some way. You give what you get, you get what you give.

Seriously, On Top Chef they went to Napa Valley for a challenge and it was pretty close to the vineyards. I’m sure they are right around the corner or a couple of miles away.

No, nix the toe. I was standing in the middle of my living room in this photo so I changed the background to a solid color. When I did that, I accidentally cut off my boots.

So I added a frame and that solved that problem.

Thanks Mils, I needed that. I love Adam and that song. I was hoping maybe to hear it in Arizona, but it needs to be done in a theatre or more intimate setting than the big auditorium there. I really like seeing Adam and intimate in the same post.
