Since reading about Daughtry debut…I have no idea what is going to happen with Adam album…I just hope the radio will play him more this time than like they did with WWFM…I think it was clearchannel that held off for so long…I think the song would have gotten alot higher if they would have added earlier. I’m really hoping for Adam to pull off a Kelly Clarkson and debut higher on this album, but with looking at Daughtry numbers, the chances are slim.
I want everyone to love Adam as much as we do and see the amazing talent he is. I really believe since the EMAs with Queen, some eyes have been opened. THe talent is there, with the right songs he will blow everyone out of the water.

I have a feeling Adam will get more radio play this time. Remember, he did a LOT of radio promo, radio M&G, almost at every stop on the GNT all through the US, and they seemed to like him a lot. I think that goodwill he earned will help, maybe is still helping, because he gravitates between Nos. 6 and 8 on the Idol airplay charts still. Plus, no scandals, and the EMA and AMA appearances, plus the TV stuff plus the RS and EW articles, and whatever may come that we don’t know about. (Eber was giving him advice on what Xmas song to sing if he had to. Big ???? – what could it be?)
Grammy nominations today! (tonight?) I have everything crossed. Love that poll for who to sing at Olympics. If you remember a few pages back I e-mailed the Olympic people directly and received a nice reply.

I just heard news from GMA that Les Miz is going to be a movie. Didn’t get it if it’s musical or not.
The last one I watched- not musical..Liam Neeson, Jeoffry Rush, and Uma Thurman were on. Not so good.
I love the musical. Les Miz is my all time favourite.
Just this summer I got dvd of their 25th Anni. Nick Jonas was Marius…just ok. Love the 10th Anniversary better.
I’d love Adam to be Javert … dark and judgemental (for a change to be on the other side) and belts out “Stars” for me.

For those of us who shared dinner together at the SpaWatel in Ste.-Agathe.
Jennifer was seated at the same table, just a couple of peeps away, from me, luval, eywflyer, little dutchess and the Duke. Jennifer doesn’t post here but I’ve mentioned her in the past as the lady who has a tattoo of Adam on her right shoulder. Her photo was among the montage of pics showing the diversity of Adam’s fans at the end of the E! Hollywood Special. She lives in Toronto and she and I have spent the past two Halloween’s together. HUGE Adam fan and fun lady!
Her 94 year old father passed away yesterday in Sarasota, Florida. Thought I’d mention this here for those who met her but would otherwise have no way of knowing about her loss.

Hi asif,(couldn’t find a smiley for waves hello) Yes, you remember well. riskylady, mr, and I took suz out to dinner and to see Billy Eliot the evening after the London GNT Concert, at the end of her trip around Europe videoing Adam’s concerts for us. It was a wonderful evening and a perfect end to her exhausting, albeit fantastic experience.
TexasWannaHoldEm was just writing about how she found out that Adam was nominated for a Grammy last year. Well, cher sent a SMS to riskylady’s phone in the middle of the night and it woke her up. She was so excited that she could hardly go back to sleep, and in the morning she came down to breakfast and showed me the message without saying anything. I started flailing right in the middle of the proper B&B breakfast room, and everyone started looking at me. It was all we could do to contain ourselves.
About Les Mis, I know that is an old man’s song, but it is my favorite one from the show, and I just think it is so perfect for Adam’s voice. But of course, you are right. He isn’t interested in doing musical theater at the moment. I imagine that it will be time for another Les Mis revival by the time he is ready to do it.

Asif, you’re still sane (or at least as sane as one can be and still be crazy for Adam). Both rs AND mr were in London, along with agathe.hb and me, and the night after the concert we took Suz to dinner and to see “Billy Elliott” – it was snowing heavily, and she loved it – she had seen snow, but never seen it falling. We really loved being able to do something for her, after her wild and crazy adventure following the GNT.
You are sane asif. mr and I are from the same country in your part of the world, and she was in London with us, but she is trying to get a (real) life and doesn’t post here anymore. I am still in contact with her (and sent her your regards when you asked) and I make sure that she gets all the important Adam news.
Of course agathe.hb was with us for the concert but she had left in the morning after the concert so unfortunately she couldn’t join us for the dinner and show with suz

Would you believe, I still have cher‘s message saved on my phone. It came at 4:17 a.m. and woke me and I just could not believe it – it was so unexpected and incredible!!!
And, that is a beautiful song from Les Miz, had never heard it before. Adam would sound gorgeous, but then I don’t know of any song that wouldn’t be with his voice, and I want them ALL.
So, Eber was telling Adam on Twitter to forget the secular Xmas songs and go for O Holy Night with the big note lol. And I thought, how about What Child Is This (Greensleeves)? Imagine Adam’s voice, soooo gorgeous!
