   It’s Thanksgiving, you’re tallying votes … you’re busy! When you have a spare moment, maybe this is something you can take a look at:

   If I understand correctly, this plugin would expand the 18 smileys currently available to over 200. I don’t see one for “kiss” but there are a couple of “hearts” in there that would be put to good use.

   Hi Ron! I did tally the first round of votes last night, some expected songs are up there along with some surprises. It’s early though! Was just assembling the London GNT recap, wow. Suz had an incredible viewpoint for that show.

   I have installed the “tango-smileys-extended” plugin, and the 200+ smileys should now be available. I don’t know how to create all of them using keyboard shortcuts, but according to the plugin documentation it should be possible. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, enjoy!

   ETA: I see that there is now a huge array of new emoticons/smileys beneath the comment form. Cool!

   Maybe I should stick with emoticons since I am a poor communicator.
   I have always been worried to say something completely inappropriate by mistake. This might be a good time to let you all know that if it happens, it is a linguistic fail on my side, since I have nothing but warm feelings and respect for you all.

    eywflyer, thanks for considering my comment about the multiple performances. I think that your solution is a good one. If you didn’t want to take the time for a run-off vote you could always give the combined votes to version that received the highest number of votes in the group.

    Meanwhile I will wait for you to post the recaps from the London GNT Concert. I was there! Front row center balcony, best seats in the house (balcony was very close to the stage), thanks to riskylady’s M&G. Fabulous concert! I listen to a cd I made all the time but can’t wait to relive it through Suz’s vids.

    I’ve set the smilies size to the maximum allowed. They show up pretty large in Internet Explorer 8, not sure if they will in all browsers though.
