Another month has arrived, and we are all anxiously awaiting the lead single from Adam’s upcoming new album. Will the new single be released this month? Will Adam perform at the American Music Awards once again? I think that Adam’s recent appearance on the cover of The Advocate signals that things are about to start happening again.

Hopefully our long wait is almost over. Enjoy the chat!

    Love how they introduced Adam by mentioning the name of his new album — good promo!! So classy and humble, too, the way he thanked the AMAs for having him back.

    Hi All Just got home. Thanks everyone for all the links for tonite. I was able to catch up. We have it on dvr and will watch it later.

    This afternoon took grandson to see Happy Feet 2. Had to laugh when I heard Under Pressure and We Are The Champions! Nice surprise.

    A list:

    Things I loved tonight at the AMA’s:

    1. The antici……pay….tion.

    2. Trying to predict who he would be introducing. Guessing to myself that it would be One Republic because of the Tedder connection.

    3. Seeing Adam with Sauli together, sitting side by side and beaming.

    4. Adam in silver, Sauli in gold. Sauli’s nails are gold. His tie is Adam’s from the “other” AMA. Sauli’s hair is wavy and piled up on top. Very glam.

    5. TeeHee. Adam’s tie is tied a tad too tight. Sauli’s is a little loose at the knot.

    6. Adam is a whole head taller than most.

    7. Adam is wearing his “other” AMA vest and pants. So as to stick it to them. Yay. Love that. He’s making a statement, just like he did with his blue suede shoes. ( I still like them, naah nana boo boo!).

    8. The screen shot of Adam and Sauli clapping.

    9. The announcer saying that he’s busy working on his next album, Trespassing. When announced, it sounded pretty good. ( That is not too “sibilant”).

    10. He stuck to the script. And, he poked fun at himself, he wasn’t the joke of the night.

    Next Year: Performance.

    ADD: Did anybody else notice in Nikki Minaj’s opener, the platforms, the dancers on ropes??? Katy Perry singing in Adam’s WWFM on Idol lasers?? JLO telling everyone to jump??

    Adam’s shirt reminds me of the one he wore in FYE photos, with a tight cummerbund thing, and that sleek Jimmy Neutron hair, with a big globe/ball thingy. He had a very tight tie with that too, if I recall. Does anybody have that pic?
