Another month has arrived, and we are all anxiously awaiting the lead single from Adam’s upcoming new album. Will the new single be released this month? Will Adam perform at the American Music Awards once again? I think that Adam’s recent appearance on the cover of The Advocate signals that things are about to start happening again.

Hopefully our long wait is almost over. Enjoy the chat!

    Late to the party as always, blooming time differences….
    Just saw that tweet from Adam, which got me a bit excited, then added to the two from the other person makes me very excited….The EMA’s are the European equivilent to the AMA’s, so it would be a great place to premiere his new single. will we all last till sunday with all the speculation? Hopefully someone will spot him at LAX airport in the next day or two..

    Funny about someone lookin’ good after a few glasses of vino, Ron. Reminds me what Adam said about The Advocate cover – “that’s how I look after you’ve got a buzz on.” He’s so down to earth about all the photoshopping.

    Woke up to see the twitter frenzy regarding EMA’s. I am pretty sure that Adam won an award last year. I was surprised at the time that he didn’t go over and accept.

    I am keeping my fingers and toes and “what’s its” as Mils would say crossed for anything Adam on Sunday. Would love him singing with Queen. Would be shocked if it was him singing a new song. Won’t even let my hopes float that way for now.

    Well, I woke up this morning to WWFM on my clock radio, which is a definite sign of a very good day ahead. That could mean more details/clues about our “mystery” performance. Here’s hoping…. Wink

    I would be very surprised as well if Adam was introducing his single at that time. I don’t know a whole lot of details about introducing singles, but wouldn’t he introduce it here in the US before Europe? Maybe it isn’t uncommon for this to happen — I don’t know. Just wondering……

    Perfectly put. We wait so long for something to happen, and then when it happens, we are scared stiff.
    By the way, this is what I read (diagonally) in my hurry to catch up with this thread:

    And now twitter is all over the fact that it is Adam and Sauli’s anniversary that night so who knows what’s gonna go down! And I agree we def need a ustream!

    But seriously: That Adam and Sauli are apparently still going strong after a year makes me so happy. Somehow I always had a good feeling about this relationship. I still remember our first conversations here when the news came out.

    haha just heard that the Bieber may be a baby daddy! Some girl is claiming they had sex at the Staples Center when he asked her back stage. Just in time for the release of his album! Probably not true, but who knows. Saw this on the Today show with Hoda & Cathy Lee.

    So Adam isn’t the only one that can have a controversy right at the release of their album. (if it’s true).

    This is a show in Europe that is not easily viewed here in the US(which is where Adam is). To tell his followers to “make sure you tune in”, he sure better explain this or else be on that show! ‘s all I got to say! Wink

    Well, that didn’t take long! More info will be coming shortly then,by the look of things heh heh!!!! He really knows how to keep us on edge though…a master. For ANYONE else, I really could not care less, but for ADAM (and his new music) I am like someone lost in the desert without water and he’s got the water. I’m dying of thirst, but not panicked (sp) because I KNOW he is not a mirage…he’s the real deal and sooooo worth waiting for. Better than the eye candy is the ear candy!!!

    I just listened to Bieber’s The Christmas Song. I can’t stand the phrasing and constant runs. And did he really sing merry Chwissmas? I’m not trying to be Bieber bashing, but I just don’t care for the Bieber/Usher version of this song. It’s overdone IMHO.

    He’s going to be there. He wouldn’t be this coy about a presenting appearance. Can we assume then that he will be performing? Will it be with Queen, which would be incredible, or is he introducing a new single, which he obviously can’t get on TV to do in the US? The possibilities are great! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Grin

    I just checked my cable provider and YAY, I’ll be able to watch EMA. If any of you is in my area and has the same provider (TimeWarnerCable in NYC) it’s channel 167.

    It’s 150 minutes, so I’ll use my DVR and if ADAM WILL BE THERE I’ll FF to him.
    Is Adam big tease, or something? Wrrrrrr..
    I’m so happy he got one of the OMTV awards. It got his name out there and gave me carpal syndrome… Smile

    Imaginations are running rampant on twitter, including wanting Adam to sing Under Pressure with Bowie. That would be awesome! There are so many Queen songs that Adam could just blow away, I don’t even know which I would want to hear. All of them! Smile

    Haha…. Just arrived home from work and loving all the new details. Oksana, I think I’m in your area — the east coast. Do you have the name of the channel such as ABC, TBS, etc.? We have Verizon FIOS which seems to have lots of channels, but not sure about this one.

    That recent Halloween pic is so funny. Adam actually looks the least scary of the entire group. Grin
