Adam Lambert and his band play at Maxidrom in Moscow, Russia for the Maximum 103.7 FM Festival. Also in the line up are Prodigy, Travis and Korn. Adam was onstage for about an hour long set between 2pm and 3pm Moscow time (6-7am EDT).
In July, Adam and his crew are scheduled to play at the Sainte Agathe en Feux Festival on the 29th!

It is a great interview, and Sauli is adorable. He sounds very charming, funny, sweet, and grounded. No wonder Adam loves him. This is my favorite quote — about when they met and what happened right after Adam came over and tapped Sauli on the shoulder. It just melts my heart and makes me happy:
Remember what Adam said in that interview (I think it was Byron Cooke?) about how someone can win his heart? Wasn’t it was something like: “Just smile sweetly and say nice things to me.” Well done, Sauli.

I think I’m getting a bit of a crush on Sauli as well. I find it amazing that someone who pretty much had their life open up to the public 24/7 when in BB seems so balanced and careful about sharing too much. He is so lovely.

adamized, thank you for that link to the Aussie questions link. I got stuck in the glitter and watched a few youtubes of various interview clips from when he was in Australia. I think they are some of the most relaxed and comfortable interviews I have seen of Adam. He obviously loved it there and felt at home. Fun to watch him being so happy and relaxed.

Just returned home from work and went to a few of the “close view, decent audio” vids from the Moscow concert — yes, again! I know I’m not posting anything new, but I just felt the need (desire) to once again mention how incredibly hot Adam looked and performed for this concert. I love the “dress down” look with the jeans and sleeveless black shirt. He has great arms (and body to go with them). The boy has been working out! Then of course, there is the hair. The hair — a topic in itself! Combine all of this with the amazingly hot performance and you become lightheaded (like me). Too much for one human being like myself to internalize! Have to now pull myself together for my “normal” evening at home with my family.

I’m a day or two late but wanted to mention something about the black and white “eyes” picture. This is EXACTLY how Adam looks in your eyes at the meet and greets. For a split second the world stops and you hear and see nothing but are hypnotized into pool of undescribable joy. I’m being a bit dramatic, but that’s how it felt to me. Never have I experienced anything like this. I swear he’s aware of what he’s doing and loves every second of it.
Agree with luval. Adam has an extraordinary personality – it’s similar to a “life force” – the intelligence behind it is fascinating. He cannot be unaware of his impact on people – and, yes, I think he loves it. Every once in a while, I see a smile flicker across his face as he understands the impact. He did it in Moscow – was it at the end of WWFM? Have to go look again – hard work, I know.

Yes, Oksana! I have ALWAYS felt this way as do many others I’m sure. I suppose we need to remember that Adam wears makeup because he enjoys it, not so much because he feels he needs it — at least I sure hope so!
I love the twit pic from today with minimal makeup. I always got the impression that he wears foundation to try to cover up his acne scars. They are evident in some photos more than others, on the right side of his face. But, I think the makeup makes it worse sometimes. IMHO.
Oh, but really, who gives a darn. He is so outstandingly beautiful, he could wear a burlap sack and mucklucks, and still be gorgeous.
mils, I don’t know much about medical field, but aren’t there some procedures to minimize acne scars? Unless his acne is still active and nothing can be really done.

eywflyer — I want to thank you and adamland (again) for your time, energy, and careful attention to this blog. The way you have carefully searched out and posted the very best versions of the videos from Maxidrom, linked to a bazillion photos from the Maxidrom concert, carefully cataloged Adam’s Glam Nation, Idol, and pre-Idol performances, and provided these wonderful chat threads is just awesome. Thank you!!
I do have a question regarding future concerts. MJ has made it clear that she will probably be doing very few concert threads for any Idol alumni in the future because it’s getting too overwhelming for her to keep up and stay fair. But as we all know, not having concert threads at MJs runs the risk of Headlines threads being taken over by posts about Adam’s concerts on concert days. It was happening again with the Maxidrom show until she created a separate thread. eywflyer — have you talked with MJ about the extent to which she is comfortable with this blog being mentioned/promoted on her site as a complementary site for MJs Adam fans to enjoy concert threads? (e.g. when Adam has a concert appearance, maybe she could post the link to this site as part of her “Today’s Idol Appearances” announcement at the top of the Headlines thread, or maybe you could post the link and describe this blog in the comments section that day with her permission.)
The reason I ask is because clearly there were a number of MJs Adam fans who visited and enjoyed the Maxidrom thread at MJs but didn’t know to come here too. When Adam’s Quebec show comes around, there probably will not be a thread at MJs, and it would be nice to let those folks know that there will be a concert thread here instead, with the same MJs crowd and same MJs format. And that would reduce the chances that her Headlines thread gets taken over by the concert posts.
I hope this topic is ok to post here; if not, feel free to delete it. But, being a fan of both blogs, I just thought I’d ask about the nature of the relationship (if any) between these two blogs, and if there’s been any discussion/agreement/decision between you and MJ on whether to publicly promote this site among MJs Adam fans, and if so, how to do that in ways that benefit MJ’s goals and don’t hurt her. Knowing this would help us to know what we can, should, and shouldn’t say over at MJs about this site.

OMG that maxidrome vid is like a little compilation, loved it! And I love how Adam pays attention to the translations, you can almost see the gears turning as he looks for words he recognizes or to acquire…some other performers (and diplomats LOL) just use translation moments as down time.

cwm, I agree with your long post above. But, none of us can really tell MJ what to do, as I think we have experienced at one time or another. I did get the feeling that she made a thread because Adam fans just dominated the headline thread. Part of me says that she should just know better!! I have a feeling that thread is still alive. I haven’t looked yet today, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all. We know what we like. MJ has created more of a community than I think she realizes. It’s a good thing, but, we do need a “place.” I am so grateful for this new place.
I do agree that a link here would be a good idea. However, it is up to MJ, eyw, Suz and Adamland, of course.
