Adam Lambert and his band play at Maxidrom in Moscow, Russia for the Maximum 103.7 FM Festival. Also in the line up are Prodigy, Travis and Korn. Adam was onstage for about an hour long set between 2pm and 3pm Moscow time (6-7am EDT).
In July, Adam and his crew are scheduled to play at the Sainte Agathe en Feux Festival on the 29th!

Thanks Adamland, I updated the post with a couple of those new vids. Quickly learning how much of a rinse and repeat process this is when we don’t have Suz there, as new/better vids keep popping up.
I think Adam will be heading for Sweden to work with Max Martin now. The timing is about right from what he said last month. Will probably stop in Finland too but I hope the Max Martin writing/recording sessions are scheduled for now.
Yes my threads at MJs drove me nuts when Suz526 wasn’t at a concert. I would have about 10 tabs open searching for the best videos out there. Sometimes I had to put up inferior until better ones popped up.

You all may not believe this story, but it is the truth.
I was at work today. I had a lovely Russian patient who needed to have everything I said and everything she said translated. So, we were finished, and I was chatting a little with the family and the translator, and I said, something like “I’ve got Russia on my brain today.” So, they pushed a little and I admitted about the Maxidrome concert, and….the translator’s daughter was going there to see Adam!!!!!!

mils…don’t believe your story. Just kidding!!!! I totally can relate. I don’t work until Monday but I work with 2 Russian nurses and will work my way into talking about the Maxidrome.
It was just a lovely day today. Started weird with Soundcheckgate but wow…as others have said it just shows how much we miss Adam live and on stage. And still it’s hard to believe he’s only had one album. (I don’t count Take One). The really established groups/entertainers that have been around for years, have many many albums…hits and not-so hits…tour for years on end! Of course Adam has been doing this for 18 or 19 years yet he’s at the infancy of his career I feel. There’s so much more for him to do.
This has all been said before and I know I sound like a broken record but had to say it again.
Hi everyone. Been lurking on and off all day; just now able to comment. Holy mackerel, Adam was amazing. It is SO good to see him on stage again, and good God, he looked awesome. Hot hot hot. The pants, the jacket, the hair, the necklace, the tshirt, the boots, the face — all perfect. Oh yeah, and the voice! His voice!! What a welcome treat after our long drought. I’m so glad the show went so well and he got so much love from the Russian fans. Must be so surreal for him.
Oh and thank you very much, renatamelo, eywflyer, and adamland for bringing the treats to us so masterfully. And everyone else, like Oksana, who is bringing over pics and links. We Adam fans are so spoiled, and so blessed.

luval, I thought we were going to hang out here until June 1st, or until somebody pulls our cold dessicated fingers off our keyboards.
Added another IIHY with good audio but very shaky video, and replaced SFW with better audio and closer view.
Luval, I figured we would stay here at least for tonight and Sunday as additional pix/vids are still coming in. We will leave this post open for comments indefinitely so people can add any more concert-related material that they find.
Not sure when/if we will move back to the other chat thread, since there are only a few days left in the month anyway. We’ll just play it by ear, but I guess there’s no reason not to just stay here since Moscow will be the main subject of conversation for the next few days anyway.
That said, if you wish to have a detailed discussion about something completely unrelated such as poutine or who is staying where for Quebec, that would probably be better kept in the general chat thread. Otherwise it’s fine to keep posting here for the next couple of days.

I have a small story, the teacher I work with got me a B-day card and it had a lady on the front holding up her granny panties and saying she wanted to buy these to throw at Justin Timberlake. Well she crossed out

Just watched WWFM. Wow! Loved the extras, this has never been a favorite song of mine but this version could make me like it a lot!
I am thinking that in a day or so there could be some additional awesome vids posted. Peeps have to get home (for some, that will be more of a journey than for others) and not everyone has reliable internet access. I have a number of Russian friends and this is their constant complaint, that internet is slow, unreliable, and fraught with viruses and malware.
But re the rinse and repeat aspect of finding vids…I know it is harder for the person hosting the thread, but it is fun for us. I love seeing various incarnations of this or that performance, from different angles and qualities as we move along to (finally) the best one.

Thanks everyone for all the photos and videos. As much as I enjoyed the dancers on the tour, I really love Adam on his own. He adlibs more on the songs, adds extra riffs, different notes and moves as and when the music takes him. The vocals at this concert are amazing…the looks not bad either!
