Happy 10th Anniversary AdamLambertLive.org!
Ten years ago this month some fans got together and created something special.
On May 6, 2011, thanks to eywflyer and adamland with help from Suz526, this site was launched so that Adam fans everywhere could experience his concerts LIVE and share their thoughts with like minds. We endured broken feeds, fuzzy streams, underwater sounding recordings as Adam conquered the world. We spent time in the corner enjoying “dinner” and planning trips to Wembley Stadium and more. Special friendships were made and kept.
Technology has come a long way since then – thank goodness! Our numbers are much smaller now but we’re still kicking (or should I say limping?). riskylady is now at the helm and I (AL) continue to post the chat and concert threads with help from ultimathule. And can you guess which frequent commenter said “You’ll probably see me quite a bit here!” in her first post? And yes, we do see her “quite a bit here!” and we really appreciate that!
Thank you to everyone who has created, posted, contributed and even lurked here. Without you (and of course Adam Lambert) this blog would have ended many years ago! We have seen him grow from contestant #1877 to the entertainer that he is today with plenty more to come.

luval – I enjoyed the American Idol finale too. Seeing Leona Lewis duet with Willie, I remembered her duet with Adam. Would have loved to see Adam duet with Grace. Wish she would’ve won or been runner-up. She gave me goosebumps all season!
Watched the Voice last week with my mom. There was only 1 contestant that would have made it to the top ten of Idol, imo. But I thought the top 5 on Idol were truly exceptional this year.
Grace was really good, sparkle. Any one of the finalists were deserving of the crown. But Chayce had the full package I think…good looks, decent voice (not great), and a really nice guy. The whole show was a fitting finale. I see Katy and Luke are starting residencies in LasVegas and Lionel is going on tour.

Yes, luval, I agree that Chayce had the whole package. Knew he’d win once Hunter (who also had the entire package but wasn’t as good a singer as Chayce) was eliminated. Any one of the top 5 was good enough to win.
I had been rooting for Hunter, he is more like the type of music I listen to…Also liked Ava, Beane and Casey, with the new rules on Idol they should be able to audition again though
Its not the same as when Adam was on it though….you don’t get to know the contestants well enough, and there’s not enough live shows.
Ava was great & so was Beane. So many good contestants this season. I mentioned this before but as far as Hunter I never liked him & it’s only because he reminded me of a guy on The Bachelor, Nick Viall who was not a nice person imo. I couldn’t get this out of my head!!!

There was something about Hunter that I didn’t care for either and I didn’t even know about Nick Viall (I see the resemblance, luval). I guess I couldn’t quite believe that he was so insecure about his talent. He didn’t seem genuine, especially compared to Chayce.
