So good to see all the ALLers (including me) coming out of lurkdom to say hello and comment on Adam’s new music. Adam always brings us together. I have heard/seen the new song a number of times and I do like it (more at every listen), but I can’t quite connect to the video. I can’t wait to hear the song live! I know it will be amazing. I am REALLY looking forward to more of his new music.

The New Eyes Music Video is still Number ! on the US ITunes Charts!!! This is my favorite song of his! I just love it! I cannot stop listening. I love this vibe, sexy, earthy and bluesy. That’s my favorite vibe. If this is the direction of the album, I’m in love!!! I’m just crazy in love with this song. I also love they way Adam looks with the long hair and clothes. He really knows how to rock this whole look! It suits him! I cannot wait to see him perform it live! I hope he will be doing some late night talk shows as well. It’s going to be a wonderful era!

I read Adam’s entire Twitter party and didn’t see anything offensive. Unless it was when he replied to mmc @tchrsd with a line from Down the Rabbit Hole: “Tune in Turn on Drop Out. Medicine comes in many forms.”
All the replies to that are positive.
I didn’t see anyone in the video appear to consume anything of the magic green stuff except the old guy, but could’ve been medical marijuana. The girl used it like a perfume, putting liquid on the other’s wrist. We know Adam likes marijuana, no secret there. But I saw no snorting, no crack, no meth….Whatever. Green – the color of most plants – is a good symbol for life to me. The 70’s were psychedelic. Anyone?
There are sooooo many glowing reviews and reactions, so a few disgruntled fans aren’t worth angsting over. They’ve been whining for ages, just go away. Find someone else who meets your criteria FFS. Obviously missing the message.
ALSO, he has told us not to worry about numbers, radio, etc. and to enjoy the music.
To me, being a fan doesn’t mean I get to lecture HIM about his art, his life. If I didn’t like, I’d just move on. I don’t think he has to be nice to rude, entitled people. Just IMHO.

I have listened several times over the last few days. I have not watched the video yet.
Very mumbley in the beginning and I have always loved Adam’s clear precise vocals. If I didn’t have a list of the lyrics I would have no idea what he was saying.
I don’t love it or hate it. Just kind of neutral for now.
I am definitely a psychedelic rock era girl but this is not really grabbing me. But I keep listening.
