Adam enjoyed a quiet April but we still got to see a new photo shoot and magazine feature as well as attend a few parties. But May kicks off with a bang with Adam and Melissa Etheridge opening the GLAAD Media Awards in NY on May 5th performing her hit “I’m The Only One”. And there is “lots more to come” per Shoshanna Stone.

And we’re having an anniversary celebration as ALL turns 7. Thanks to eywflyer for creating this blog so that like-minded fans can hang out and get plenty of Adam-related stuff. He has decided to move on since his work here is done and has left the blog in the capable hands of riskylady. Let’s hope for at least 7 more years of glamberting!

    The end of the song was so much better. It took them a minute to get together. I’m not sure how much duetting metheridge has done.
    Adam is a duet king.
    But lawd, those were two strong voices!!

    Been waiting for this all day, and was, as always, thrilled to see Adam out “working” again: red carpet, and a duet with the fabulous Ms Etheridge.

    I agree, though, that Melissa isn’t used to dueting, and introduced runs and extra notes that a duet partner would need more rehearsal time to adjust to. Not that I am any kind of expert…just seemed like that while watching the clips. Hope we get a whole recording, because it would be great to see the entire scope of the song.

    She wasn’t a good partner.
    However. Adam really held his own.
    It actually reminded me of when Gaga was on stage with QAL.
    But this time he powered thru it. He wasn’t quiet and “respectful”.

    Oh, I remember that duet with Gaga, too! It was remarkable because to my eyes it seemed like Adam pretty much had to get everybody back on track to get to the end of the song. I thought Gaga just got lost in there. I’m always impressed how he has a general consciousness of everything happening onstage, can anticipate problems while singing his face off with characteristic ease.

    Yep, I sure agree he got past that “respectful” attitude really quickly!
