Adam enjoyed a quiet April but we still got to see a new photo shoot and magazine feature as well as attend a few parties. But May kicks off with a bang with Adam and Melissa Etheridge opening the GLAAD Media Awards in NY on May 5th performing her hit “I’m The Only One”. And there is “lots more to come” per Shoshanna Stone.

And we’re having an anniversary celebration as ALL turns 7. Thanks to eywflyer for creating this blog so that like-minded fans can hang out and get plenty of Adam-related stuff. He has decided to move on since his work here is done and has left the blog in the capable hands of riskylady. Let’s hope for at least 7 more years of glamberting!

They just don’t get it that QAL has an end point. When? Who knows but how crazy would it be not to take advantage of this amazing collaboration.     Good afternoon! So much goodness coming our way. Totally agree regarding the carping regarding Queen. Adam has been given a safety net that a very small % of performers have as they make their way in the music world. With Queen he gets to perform full of arenas full of adoring fans with a world class band who adore him. At the same time he has time to make his individual path without worrying about money. The freedom this has give him is immeasurable.

    Haven’t posted since the passing of the guard. Big thanks to Eyeflyer for his years of support and a solid round of applause to Riskylady for taking over the ship.

    Yesterday I attended a Burning Man retrospective at the Renwick Gallery in Washington DC. It was incredible! Provided the history of Burning Man and had huge installations of work created by some of the same artists that had originally been done for the festival. My favorites were kinetic colored mushrooms over 20 feet tall that opened and closed; a silver mesh statue which again was at least 20 feet tall; and intricately carved hollow orbs. Anyone that lives near DC should give it a try. The Renwick is part of the National museum system, so free to the public.

    Luval, you have probably figured this out by now but “The Build Series” is taped in NYC. I clicked on the get tickets link and of course they were sold out. You can stream the interview.

    I loved watching Adam Rippon on DWTS. He has tons of charisma in IMHO. Thanks for posting it.
