Adam enjoyed a quiet April but we still got to see a new photo shoot and magazine feature as well as attend a few parties. But May kicks off with a bang with Adam and Melissa Etheridge opening the GLAAD Media Awards in NY on May 5th performing her hit “I’m The Only One”. And there is “lots more to come” per Shoshanna Stone.

And we’re having an anniversary celebration as ALL turns 7. Thanks to eywflyer for creating this blog so that like-minded fans can hang out and get plenty of Adam-related stuff. He has decided to move on since his work here is done and has left the blog in the capable hands of riskylady. Let’s hope for at least 7 more years of glamberting!

    Two observations:
    1) About this article in a Brit blog:

    There’s no comment section, dammit, but to attribute the “current wave” of acceptance in the US as beginning with a Brit is just ignorant. Adam’s millions of interviews, his #3 album in spite of the AMAs, his sellout GlamNation 113-stop world tour where he kissed TJR on stage almost every stop for SIX MONTHS in 2010, pushing the envelope more than any gay pop star and his consistently honest behavior all this time were the lever that started lifting the veil of denial. He took so much hate, so much punishment for years, but held steady. Opening the door for the Smith/Sivans et al.
    2) Twinks of course are less masculine/threatening and therefore more easily acceptable to straight men than an Adam, or Freddie. Duh.

    So just got back to the good old 852…so tired after a 14 hour flight…not to mention the 8 states (or parts of) and just over 3500 miles driving in 2 weeks!!! including seeing The Badlands/Black Hills in South Dakota, mount Rushmore/deadwood/, The amazing drive from Cody through to yellowstone, the hoover dam, and Las vegas!!!!!
    I have managed to keep up with comments but haven’t been able to see any videos or interviews..so have a lot to catch up on…
