Adam enjoyed a quiet April but we still got to see a new photo shoot and magazine feature as well as attend a few parties. But May kicks off with a bang with Adam and Melissa Etheridge opening the GLAAD Media Awards in NY on May 5th performing her hit “I’m The Only One”. And there is “lots more to come” per Shoshanna Stone.

And we’re having an anniversary celebration as ALL turns 7. Thanks to eywflyer for creating this blog so that like-minded fans can hang out and get plenty of Adam-related stuff. He has decided to move on since his work here is done and has left the blog in the capable hands of riskylady. Let’s hope for at least 7 more years of glamberting!

    Hi ALL! I echo rs‘s sentiments. It’s been too long since I’ve posted but I visit here regularly to catch up and keep up with everyone and everything. It’s easy to take it for granted that ALL will always be here. I was dismayed to see the notice of closure, and then rejoiced when riskylady stepped forward to take the reins. Thank you riskylady for your fearlessness, determination, and devotion to making it happen! And many many thanks to AL, luval, and ulti for your ongoing dedication to keeping the fires burning here.

    This blog has been an important “campfire” around which so many of us have gathered for so long – 7 years now! – for warmth, friendship, fun, flailing, and sharing Adam news. What a delightful place this is! My work has taken over my life for the past many months, which has made it hard for me to have enough time and left over brain cells to post, but I’ll try to be better about posting more often, even if briefly. I feel a warm and deep connection with all of you, and I’m very grateful that this fire continues to burn!

    Finally, I want to thank eywfler for establishing this blog in the first place. It is so well organized and easy to navigate, and is a treasure trove of live performances and other Adam goodies. Amazing place.

    I’m looking forward to sharing with you all of the goodness that Adam has in store for us over the coming year! It’s gonna be fun!! Dance In Love

    People like this just don’t get it. Things change! Adam said it himself…he’s not the same person he was 9 years ago. People depend on twitter for their fandom. Here’s a couple of comments from that tweet:

    They apparently never found another outlet than twitter…blogs, group of like-minded friends, things like this. And don’t keep up with the fact that Adam has millions of new fans all over the world. His streaming numbers keep rising, his “likes” on instagram are huge. I know I’ve posted something similar recently but just had to say it again.

    luval, that’s so true. Adam’s on Instagram and Snapchat almost daily, much less on Twitter. Can’t say I blame him, that’s where the nasties are.
    I’ve even mentioned that to a few of them a while back, to try those other apps, but they’re stuck on Twitter. His last live chat was on Instagram FFS. Oh, well….
    But you’re right, his numbers are growing nicely and those listening fans, those posting love on YT and Instagram, those are the ones I love!

    Guys, thank you for the praise for taking on ALL. I had to learn a number of things about the setup and maintenance, and pretty sure I can keep it up. I’ll try to update the expenses page – spent some $ for the 2-yr renewal of the domain and security, but we’re in good shape for about 1 1/2 yrs for monthly expenses. I’ll also try to be careful not to screw it up lol!
    But the TRUE HEROES here are definitely AL, ultima, and luval who keep the ball rolling, especially dear AL with threads, pics, puzzles – the labor of love he contributes is priceless. I’m going to need some training from you, AL eventually, just for the odd emergency which I hope never comes. eywflyer only went over management, not day to day stuff.
    Anyway, thank goodness we still have our happy home!

    Live With Kelly & Ryan is the day after American Idol. Doubt if Ryan would be there. He’d be taking red eye flight. It would be pretty amazing if he made it. Maybe he’s gonna say he’ll be mentoring the following week or maybe the movie or announcing one of his secrets.

    eta: Maybe the show is taped in advance. He’d be in New York now probably. Ryan doesn’t have to fly to LA til the weekend. Even though the show is “Live with Kelly&Ryan” they do occasionally tape shows.
