There wasn’t much about new music in April but Adam did have some fun as he and several “Forever friends” had a blast at Coachella. And he got a new tattoo too! May (the month not the guitarist) sees Adam (and possible the guitarist May) in New York for Live Nation’s National Concert Day “Kickoff to Summer”. He won’t be performing but will be interviewed so there will be videos and photos! The rest of May will probably be spent rehearsing for the QAL tour which starts on June 23rd in Phoenix, AZ. With the promise of this new tour being “a big one” they may need more time to get it in touring shape.

    Look at this garbage !! We gave the Sunday Times world-wide exclusive to serialise my Queen in 3-D book. This is what they came up with. “Freddie and Me” is NOT what the book is about. They had exclusive use of the photographs in the book. They used just two of them – the rest of it being recycled ordinary snaps from elsewhere. The opening of the piece inside says ” Tragedy, debauchery … and dwarves … ” NONE of this tired old rubbish features in the book, or was discussed in the interview. This woman came into my house, pretended she was a fan – and she was going to write a piece about the book, as agreed, then went away and wrote this pathetic sensationalistic rubbish. I’m angry and disgusted. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such crass journalism and experienced such a betrayal of trust. Folks – please ignore this trash – the book is NOTHING Like this. Bri

    luval … I forgot to answer your question about my QAL $20.00 tickets a while back.

    Too much Drink that night. Grin

    When I said details later I meant where the seats were.
    They are at the far up (in the $40.00 section) but in the middle so they are looking straight to the stage. So they’re pretty decent seats … good to see the whole thing. Grin

    They are in section 232 row 13 and I have all 5 seats in a row together. Listening to Music Music Note

    When I heard about the Nation Live Summer Concert Promotion I just checked at many venues out of curiosity.
    Most QAL tickets were gone but not from Sprint Center, KC.
    So I can spare $100 to get 5 tickets to give away.

    Anybody here is interested? I have 3 tickets left. I gave 2 to my friend’s son so he can take a friend with him.

    If anybody is interested to get the tickets please let me know soon.
    I’ll be very busy in June, July and August.
    I’ll have to go to DC 3 times.

    Too bad that I can’t be here to flail and squee with you all.
    I was so looking forward to watching the streams, bringing fans’ youtube videos, photos, recaps and reviews here.
    But it seems I’ll be busy with real life. Frown Big Frown

    In June … I’ve promised my friend to help her move. The same friend I helped her move 3 years ago. She lives in DC.
    It will take the whole month of June to pack, clean and move. And then I’ll fly back to KC to my QAL here in July.
    Then later go back to DC for my QAL show there. Grin Grin
    In August Hubby and I have a wedding party to attend in DC.
    Too bad that all these events don’t come close together.

    Speaking of QAL (and coming SOON !!)….any plans in the making for ALLers to meet up? especially in Hollywood?

    The Duke and I are also in Phoenix but don’t think there are many others planning to be there. Maybe cher…where are you girl?
