The Original High Tour wraps up in Munich on May 4th. Adam has just one more special solo show at G-A-Y on the 14th and then it’s back in Queen mode. Q+AL start their festival tour at Rock In Rio this time in Lisbon, Portugal and continue through the rest of May and June. Then it’s a well-deserved break for Adam – at least that seems to be the plan.

A Macy’s Story

So, I drive by Macy’s every day on my way home from work, from the freeway, need to get off to actually go there, haven’t shopped there in a few years, to be honest. Nothing against it, it is a great store with lots of high end labels and merch, just out of my way from home.
Decided to stop by today and see if I could spot ..a certain somebody.
Found Austin Mahone. NO ADAM in my May’s. Lots of American Icon stuff, ads, collages of Americana and words, no Adam.

So, I went shoe shopping. The fabulous male clerk helped me find just the right shoe to wear to my son’s graduation in NYC on Memorial Day. Could NOT find something comfortable to wear whilst bopping around NY. Gonna end up in my Skechers, just know it. But, who’s looking anyway?
So, I ended up in purses , of course. Found a young and helpful gal, asked about the magazine or brochure. She said they were all gone, but she had one for herself. Because it had ADAM in it. Had a little Adam convo. Decide not to go to cray, because, well, I decided.
SO. She told me to go to HR upstairs and ask if they had any left. I did.
The lady in HR said that they might ….there was one. She gave it to me. I looked for Adam…..there he was. Right in my hands. I asked the lady why Adam wasn’t on the big signs downstairs, she didn’t know why. I said that teens don’t shop in the department where Austin Mahone was , and she agreed.
So, I went back down to the purses, very expensive designer purses, and the young gal asked to see it. I showed her the one of Adam looking down at his sleeve.
She literally did a groan, and said ” Onhh. That werks.”
So I went there. I whipped it out. My Meet and Greet pic, she moaned again. I asked her if she had heard the new CD. She said some of it. We talked a bit, because she is actually a fan…and is really 24 years old. She thought I was so cool. In my new MK glasses and surrounded by designer purses that I cannot afford. She agreed that he should be on display at our store.
Fun at Macy’s. Even if Adam wasn’t the big face there today.
And I got new shoes and a magazine with Adam all glossy and gorgeous inside.

The ending to my story is true.
I got in my car, turned on the radio, and. ..Queen. listened to Freddie WATC/WWRY. Thinking we’ll hear Adam do this in 2 days.
Scanned channels afterward, and Queen on several channels most of my ride home.
Smiling and car jamming. Glossy Adam on the seat next to me, Freddie blasting away. It was sunny, clear blue skies and warm.
The next part is real, at a stoplight I looked up at a wispy cloud formation, and I saw a long guitar. It looked just like the stratocaster in my son’s room. Long neck, frets and all. The body looked like a flying V. No lie. Bo Rhapsody was playing, Brian was wailing, and there was a guitar in the sky.
I looked over at the car next to me, the driver, a dude in his 30s, he looked up,saw the guitar, looked at me, and made a hand gesture like, “rock on”.
This really happened. It put a smile on my face that hasn’t stopped yet. That guitar in the sky was simply amazing. Like seeing a rainbow after a hard day.
So, I’m sharing it with you all.
Oh Mils, your the gift that keeps on giving!

Well, that’s it! If they aren’t going to stream Q+AL, I’m just going to sit and cry for two hours and I won’t be watching anything else. Even if it’s because they may do a DVD of the show…don’t care. I would buy that anyway, and it would be months or years away. “Pouting”
