The Original High Tour wraps up in Munich on May 4th. Adam has just one more special solo show at G-A-Y on the 14th and then it’s back in Queen mode. Q+AL start their festival tour at Rock In Rio this time in Lisbon, Portugal and continue through the rest of May and June. Then it’s a well-deserved break for Adam – at least that seems to be the plan.

    I just happened upon the Eurovision song contest finale on LOGO right now. Live I think. It’s like the Olympics. Fun! Music and crazy costumes.

    I’m with you glambot. I rarely gripe about Adam’s look, but I’m tired of the silver and wish he’d go back to a much lighter scruff. But I do have a feeling we may see new hair at least for QAL.

    So last night’s show was the last time (probably) that we’ll ever see these songs sung live. Best tour ever.

    eta: should probably put on the G.A.Y. thread but the person using the whistle made it unbearable to listen to sometimes. Whistles have been used and are used at dance clubs for years but at a live performance? I don’t think so. IMO

    Looking at all the postings of Adam in Macy Stores and loving them all. Unfortunately, the Duke and I went to ours in Naples FL and we finally found it—-in an awkward, somewhat blocked position visable from the ‘down’ escalator. It was on the other side of ‘Princess Nokia’ which faced out over a large cosmetics counter. They must have set it up backwards (LOL!!) (not having Adam facing out). Just the same…nice to see it out there.

    As for getting a catalogue…Customer Service told us they haven’t seen a physical catalogue in over 4 years in our store! Boo Hoo! Has anyone been able to get one?

    little duchess I got one, but the lady from the office searched storewide for me and ended up taking one from one of the registers that the sales clerks use. She also said they don’t receive catalogs very often.

    Quick question: Are we talking about a full size catalogue or something that could be called a ‘brochure’. The Macys website shows the American Icons ‘brochure’ with a date of May11-May15 when I inquire about a catalogue on line.
    Why do they make it so hard? Don’t they know Glamberts never give up?
