The Original High Tour wraps up in Munich on May 4th. Adam has just one more special solo show at G-A-Y on the 14th and then it’s back in Queen mode. Q+AL start their festival tour at Rock In Rio this time in Lisbon, Portugal and continue through the rest of May and June. Then it’s a well-deserved break for Adam – at least that seems to be the plan.

    All is good. My birthday always gets lost or combined with Mother’s Day anyway!!

    My gift this year was two TOH concerts, one front row, one meet and greet, and four days of fun and friends. All courtesy of AFL.

    Happy belated birthday mils! Your gifts this year will be very hard to beat. I emailed the interview you posted to close friends and family since it did a perfect job of capturing what I love about Adam and provided wonderful snippets of TOH tour. Won’t need to recap my European trip anymore, will just send the interview.

    Went to Macy’s today hoping to see RL pictures of Adam. Unfortunately my Macy’s had the International Icon postings but no Adam. Forgot to go and try and get a catalog.

    Well, contrary to the comments on that RHPS article, I like the look of the remake, and am looking forward to seeing it. I only saw the original once many years ago, and I can’t say that I enjoyed it, just couldn’t get into it. I keep meaning to watch it again to see if now i’m older I might appreciate it more. Could never see what all the fuss was about.
    So hopefully the new one will finally get me on board.

    adamized & glambotgram– I’m checking out the Macy’s in Annapolis tomorrow. I’ll let you know if Adam is there. I love this ad campaign for placing gorgeous pictures of Adam in public places for everyone to see. It’s also gets Adam’s name and current look out there for people who lost track of him after AI.

    Laverne Cox looks perfect for the updated role of Frank-N-Furter. I loved it when Adam said in one of his recent interviews that his Eddie was “sexy”. That’s hardly a surprise! Did we expect anything less?

    mils– Happy Belated Birthday!!! I’m glad that Adam obliged you with your special early birthday gifts. I loved that Estonia interview you posted. What a find! Whoever put it together did a beautiful job of capturing the man and his career.

    When you go to Macy’s be sure to check with the “office”. That’s what I had to do. Just ask for the summer American Icon catalogue. It is beautiful!

    eta: So you guys are looking for the display? Seems like so far (except for NYC) it’s on the west coast. Hopefully will spread across the USA!

    Adam floor display (could have been more) and a clerk took me
    to the office area to get a couple of catalogs. Probably

    I went to the Glen Burnie, MD Macy’s this morning, Adam is there but just a small display in the men’s dept downstairs. I guess the stores with lower ceiling just get the small Adam.

    Still gray day here in Maryland, but tempted to run down to a Macy’s – four within decent driving distance – Annapolis, Bowie, Marlow Heights, and Waldorf (wonder if can call ahead to see if any available).

    Just have to say something about the hair. Love the grey hair but that pic from a day or two ago with the hair stylist it really looked dry. Needed a ton of conditioner!!
