April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    I noticed Fitzy’s soundcloud talks about Wiki (as others have done) and kind of mock it as bad information. There was segment a couple of months ago about Wiki on 60 minutes. Here’s the video (or transcript if you prefer). They are serious!

    Been offline for a few days. Real life business.

    Had a nice text message festival with nkd as soon as I saw the weather in Texas, and was relieved to hear she was not only fine but headed to NY to see our guy.

    Now I see our east coasters will all be headed out there.

    Hope everyone has a ball, take pics, take vids, and share please.

    The Byron Cooke interview was so out and out hilarious I needed to listen to it a few times. Adam was so at ease, so unaware of himself, you could hear him drinking and slurping in the beginning, I thought he sounded really thirsty and in a hurry and distracted. Then, you could literally hear him walking and opening cabinets and ripping something open. Then, the crunching started.

    I was just laughing out loud. And the shameless flirting!! Byron just needs to be his official interviewer. This may rank as the funniest interview ever. Or at least tied with the Michelle Collins interview and the Justin Lee one.

    We finally got an add in my area and it’s on a station I never listen to. I have never heard IHeartRadio spin GT during Elvis Duran and my morning commute. Or on my way home either. It’s just the other Adam and Ed Sheeran and that Grammer and Derulo. Over and over and over.

    As for geographics skaschep.. part of the fun in this ALL-sandbox is the anonymity… Then again… what I think is the following but I may be wrong:

    Europe : skaschep, ladynorth, cait1602…(but I am sure there are more… I think at least one is in eastern europe)
    Middle East : rs
    Far East : HK Fan, myself
    Down Under : Kiwi
    Brazil : renataademelo and I so envy her (because of Rock in Rio of course)

    All others are in the US or Canada:
    ETA: check out milwlovesadam’s post about East coasters.. so you can put them on the map.. Later on, if Adam goes to Canada to give a concert, watch who will move to watch…

    Then again, I do not include the lurkers and those who may have a different nationality than the country they live in… Like Mieps is dutch but I don’t think she lives in the netherlands… Or myself, I am Indonesian and live in Indonesia but because I use to live abroad, I can speak dutch… Grin

    And that is the fun part… people from all over the globe feeling safe berting here and finding new friends…

    Exactly my situation. The add-ons are not on the “top stations” in my city. No one I know listens to Elvis Duran station but just the other top ones. I know one is a Cumulous station. Probably will never get GT.

    Is anybody interested in seeing the Stones here on June 23rd?

    It sold out in 7 minutes, but there are 3 thousand tix on Stubhub starting at $165. Bastards.

    They are nosebleed seats mainly, but, our venue is the smallest on the tour, at 23,000. And it is a great venue. No bad seats, and built at a steep angle, so the performers looks at a wall of people. It has a roof and is right next to Lake Michigan. It includes admission to a pre show party and the Summerfest grounds.

    I would love to go, if I can find anybody to go with. Hubby would never do this…hates concerts.

    I just think it’s in my town, no hotels needed, cheap transport, and maybe my last chance to see them. They aren’t playing Chicago, they chose my town’s venue. Sweet. My only real expense here would be the ticket and lost sleep. LOLOL. I think I’d take the day after off from work.

    Interviews with Byron Cooke are very informative despite the flirting… and the flirting is so funny, especially in the previous interviews… cute to see how Adam tried to get out of it while trying to avoid to hurt the feelings of the interviewer… LOL…

    So Adam had a major mic-fail… hehehe… at least he did not go to the bathroom…
    I should check out on those low sodium rice crackers some day LOL…

    They would taste much better dipped in something. Then you lose the low cal and healthy perspective. LOL.

    It’s so funny that he grabbed those when he was “starving.” You would have to eat about a 1,000 to satiate any hunger!!

    Keep looking at that tat. It does look lizard-like but the mosaic…. I believe I had a polyester shirt with that pattern in the 80’s. And looking at that beautiful face in comparison. Maybe because it look so “heavy”. I prefer the swirls.

    I love the new tatts…the mosaic one was strange at first but after a closer look its amazing pattern. His geometric tatt is included and i cant wait to see it in full.

    Wonder what that new one means. Must be something good for him to get it. As luval said, he knows its for life.

    One criticism…too bad it covers up even more freckles
