April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    BTW I am going to NYC for the GMA concert. I’m taking my daughter for a few days. I can not wait to get to Medi for a single egg raviolo! I have been craving that since our lovely lunch there with cwm last summer. YUM!

    I know of some others from here that are also going, but I’ll let them out themselves! Wink

    OK how is Adam going to do all this live???? We know he needs his sleep for performance, so I’m guessing he will only be appearing at this LA club, only chatting with the SNOL guys in Vegas and then a red eye to NY for the KTU concert. Gah!

    Adamized and I are also going to the B&N signing and GMA with nkd. There is one more ALL member of our merry band, but I’ll let her out herself. Other than seeing Adam, we plan to walk and eat our way all around Manhattan, just like we did last summer when we went to see QAL at MSG. I’m just praying for decent weather so we don’t look like drowned rats on national television on GMA.

    Cwm, adamized and I had a lovely dinner last night at a French bistro in DC. It was our first rendevous since our Krakow excursion. Very lively and fun…great food and lots of berting, with a little Brian love thrown in too. We all love every one of the new songs and can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.

    I have to get back to work. I’ll have to find some time later today to listen to the Byron interview. It sounds hilarious.

    nkd, I am so glad you are going to see Adam in New York, and when you said that others are going, I guessed adamized and mmm222! I can guess who else is going, but will wait for confirmation. You will have a blast! Say hello to the City I love, and enjoy the raviolo. It was soooo good. That whole day was so much fun, including the show and the restaurant with the singing waiters. If I had an excuse to be in the States right now, I would drag riskylady to New York with me!

    Thanks rs for the belated birthday wishes! My knee is making good progress now. I’m instructed by my therapist to not use the crutches anymore while inside. When going outside one crutch to show the rest of the world that they have to treat me carefully is still wise. On Monday I have an appointment with the doctor that operated me so we’ll see what she has to say.

    Would of course love to meet some of you when possible. Hoping for some Adam concerts to make that a possibility.

    I also loved that Byron Cooke interview. You hear him doing all sorts of stuff in the background and then the crunching starts….. So adorable. Heart

    There is so much happening each day it’s hard to catch up to all the time. Love that picture from the Frontiers magazine. Wouldn’t that be a nice pic for our June thread? Wink

    Ghost Town is still #10 here in iTunes overall (#6 in pop) and the album also popped up on #72 overall this afternoon. It dropped somewhat now though to #102 but it’s doing great.

    I am as Finn as possible and live in Finland, two hours from Helsinki Grin But I traveled to London for Queenbert. And to Prague too to join many ALLers Big Smile I hope that during this era3 there might be a possibility to some gathering in Europe. Amsterdam would be cool!
