Adam-iHeartMay2014

Alas, Adam’s time on Glee is over (for this year) but he did find other things to keep himself (and his band) busy in April: a few well-paying private gigs. May (the month not the guitarist) won’t be a month for that though since it is getting to be crunch time and rehearsals begin for the Queen and Adam Lambert Summer Tour 2014. Only a few weeks away now!

    Very very happy for him.

    I have a feeling that there will be more Q+AL concerts added on.

    For me I don’t mind waiting for his new music.
    He has done 2 awesome albums and the radio and the industry didn’t give a damn.
    With the beloved legend Queen … It’s a win-win for him and for his fans.

    I’m glad that I added the Ten Commandments -Musical DVD when I ordered FYE from Amazon . It became one of my favourite musicals.

    Here is a good report & review from the person who got to take photos and M&G with Adam.

    It’s a good read.
    Adam got the loudest applause every night when he sang “Is Anybody Listening?”
    And his sense of humour when Adam answered in Q&A about the “Whips”. It’s soooo Adam. Grin

    tothebeat…mossies is short for mosquitos…..and yes they do come in the house if I have the door open….apparently I have a very sweet blood type and they love me…a lot!!! The last couple of years haven’t been so bad, but this year they’re back with a vengence…add to that the no seeums…minute little black things that you can feel nibbling your anklesFrown

    Funny … HK fan … same here … whenever I’m out with a group of people it seems like I’m the one who got bitten by mosquitos the most.
    In summer I have to carry the repellant in my purse all the time. My signature perfume! Grin

    WooHoo! I just bought a ticket to the second Melbourne show…My friend didn’t want to go twice so paid a bit more and I bought myself a floor seat. I’m actually looking forward to going to the second show on my own. I can soak it all up. It seemed silly to pay all the money for flights and hotel and I will still be in Melbourne anyway.

    People are thankful he didn’t do any vocal gymnastics. Even Adam (and many others of course) change that ending with the glory notes. Most peeps like the pure way it’s supposed to be sung.

We learned the puffy pendant origin, the usual “wants to work with Bowie”….note..why the hell has that not happened (that we know of ). His wife keeps hawking her wares on HSN, though. Asked if he’s going to work with Queen…

    That Beth Ditto still annoys the hell out of me. Always interrupting Adam’s answers. Andy Cohen has a good handle on the interview, though. I never used to like him until he started this show. Have a lot of respect for him now.

    It’s hard to tell about height there, luval, as Adam is bent forward – look at their shoulders together – Adam’s is higher – but Caleb was the big one in the Idol bunch (did you see his brother – really big).

    HK fan and asif, I am with you! Mosquitoes love my blood and I get terrible reactions. I was more scared of them than anything else when I went to Africa this past April (in the big rainy season, no less). I constantly wore a wristband with a citronella tablet, put citronella drops on my clothes, and armed myself with antibiotic cream and antihistamines. I only got one mosquito bite, but all my antimosquito measures didn’t keep the tsetse flies from biting me! Funny thing is that the day I came home I got attacked by mosquitoes here and got more than 10 really bad bites!#No escape!

    Thanks, HK fan, for the “mossies” clarification. And, with the descriptions from some others, I’m starting to feel lucky I’m only moderately attractive to the little beasties – just not sweet enough I guess! Wink Wow, rs, impressed at your courage to travel all the way to Africa to challenge the biggest, baddest mossies of all!

    Thought Caleb did a decent job of the NA; at least he thought it through enough not to make it his “signature” rock wail/mike stand throw down type of performance.

    Well well.. Today I was perusing the iTunes Pop Top 1500 albums and was surprised to see “The Best of Adam Lambert” charting. I thought it was only a physical option, but it’s up for pre-order.
