Isn’t it unusual how many of Adam’s friends, usually long time friends, are achieving so much greatness? How many celebs have so many with so much success?How many celebs are able to maintain so many friendship. Adam truly is a unique and special person.

Just got my internet back…felt lost and alone! Missed our boy and y’all! It was only a matter of hours but who knew how long it would be, and I didn’t even get a chance to say good-bye!
Ron, I definitely agree that the comments have softened. I always read youtube comments, and they used to make my eyes bleed and my heart hurt. That is rare, now, and ususlly someone comes right back and contradicts in a nice and respectful way.
I don’t remember who posted that Adam seemed so much calmer and comfortable these days, but I have noticed that, too. More reflective, more centered. Maybe that is the smoother face that we are seeing; not botox, just natural relaxation.
It makes me happy to see Adam so at ease.
I think that was part of what made the duet with Angie so special; he was just “there”, doing what he does so well, supporting and thinking about someone else.
It also means (I think) that he feels safe about his career; the interview responses aren’t so intense, he isn’t so “on” when he is being interviewed.
At the risk of being an amateur psychologist, I think that Adam is hitting all the needs in Maslow’s hierarchy and checking them off his list, albeit likely not consciously. Even the most pessimistic Adam could not see anything but a long and successful career ahead of him; he has the financial security that he has always said was so important to him; he has dear friends and family; little Riff is obviously a special godson with a special place in his heart; his album Trespassing is obviously something of which he is justifiably proud; he has an active social life and seems to find a great deal of enjoyment in it (Adam has said that he really enjoys clubbing), and has a solid and healthy relationship with Sauli behind him to reassure him that this is possible for him and will happen again with someone who might turn out to be his forever partner, if he decides that he wants that.
I am so looking forward to what this newly calmly reflective and self-actualized Adam may produce!

I Love that Chinese Idol Judging video. Soo cute, I watched all his facial expressions and I think he was truly mesmerized by the artistry of her performance. I thought she was good, and it reminded me of Native American music. Must be world wide original music.

He may miss her as they really seemed to connect.

Jojosie, I liked David’s first album, but when I listened to his second, I decided not to bother because it was exactly the same as the first. that’s something we never have to worry about with Adam….one never knows what’s coming next!Adam boredom is not one of my concerns. Kradamour and ron I loved your posts about Adam being in a calmer more secure place in himself right now. It is such a destructive industry. Look at what it is doing to Beiber. Of course there is no comparison between the upbringing, intelligence, and inner strength that these two have, but I remember Adam talking about the fact that he wouldn’t have been able to handle the pressure of Idol if he had gone on when he was younger.

Y’know, at the time we were making some surprised noises about how low-key his makeup was there. By comparison with a lot of his recent performances/outings, though, he was heavily made up.
He said a few times that the makeup and costumes were in some degree something to hide behind. I have been thinking that he is doing a lot less hiding. Makes me very happy.
