   I will be very upset if ADAM LAMBERT sings a song written by a totally unproven newbie who came in third on Idol on the Idol finale. I mean, there’s nice, and then there’s “sacrifice.”
   Hasn’t every star who’s come on the finale to duet with a contestant sung something from their own albums (cover or original, but their own)?

I really don’t believe that they would use We are the Champions again – especially since it was sung by the top 2 finalists last time. WLL would be out of Angie’s comfort zone – too sexy – either TSMGO or WWTLF would showcase their voices. As to Adam’s songs, what about Cuckoo – I think that might work as a duet. But I’m going to stick with a Mad World duet and, as Ron stated about his choice, wait to say I told you so!

    Finally, someone took Adam’s song Pop Goes the Camara and put many of his magazine covers and articles on the video, so apt! Bet he never thought how prophetic the lyrics would be when he wrote them!!! This is the original version before they remixed and butchered it for that bastard album.

    What a week to miss! Happy Bday mils and Glad you are feeling better krad OUCH!

    Didn’t Angie get voted off last week? I thought I read that. Didn’t bother to finish watching last week after Adam’s package.

    But if she did she will not be preforming Wednesday, just Thursday with everyone else that has been voted off. Sounds like she will do a solo, do a solo and a duet, or just a duet.
    If she does only her original song then maybe Adam will actually do a surprise duet with someone else. If they just do a duet then I think it will be her song because that has been confirmed. Maybe that is one of his projects? Seems like a bad one for him but who knows.

    If he is not going to sing one of his own songs the only songs I would want him to cover is Queen because at least he was part of the group and toured with them. Still think Angie playing WWTLF on a white piano with candles and the dim lighting could be great. But whatever….him singing on my TV is good enough for me!

    I am thinking the shirt was his friend’s and he grabbed it to cover his face for whatever reason. I wish we knew why the usually happily out and about Adam has been ducking lately, or so it seems. I hope that nothing bad happened or was said to him.

    I know! Well, when you’ve been recording songs for 150 years you do tend to go through just about all of them.

    I hope you’re encouraged glambotgram that I 100% agree with Kradamour. Adam was using the word ‘cover’ as a double entrendre. He didn’t mean music covers but instead was cleverly tying the word ‘cover’ with the one that he had over his head.

    I agree about Psi, HK fan. He is a fad, and I guess an entertainer, but certainly no singer. Why would they have him on a singing show? Well, they have had lots of successful pop stars who can’t sing on the show, so why change now, right?

    Just listened to the other “Prayer” and I heard the few bits of Adam singing in Hebrew. I know that they were just paying gigs for him and he doesn’t understand a word of what he is singing (except that he sings the same thing in English), but it is so special for me to hear him singing in the language of my country.

    Here is a video of him singing Song of Peace, one of the most beautiful and cherished songs for us here. (Prime Minister Rabin sang it just before he was assassinated, and Adam is singing it at a Rabin memorial.) He has a Hebrew solo in the beginning and it is just gorgeous.

    rs, thanks for that song. I only watched the vid once way back when, but, the recording of it is so shrill, it’s kind of hard to listen to. That being said, his voice was magnificent. And it must have been far beyond that live.

    It’s interesting, for us super-fans, you can hear him going into that overdrive from Ten Commandments here.

    Just watched my first episode of AI this season…gotta go with Candace…am not a fan of country anyhow. There was no clue about their personalities tonight, as all they said was “Thankyou”. Can’t wait to see what Adam does…praying for a solo…he holds back too much on most duets.
