After we were showered with Adam goodies in April, let’s see what flowers in May. With recent tweets about new music and GLAAD honoring Adam with the Davidson/Valentini Award, May seems as if it will be a very merry month indeed. And we can’t forget the Life Ball in Vienna later in the month! Let’s hope for more great pics like we had from the CMAs (China not country music), Live Proud PSA and Miami Beach Pride.

    Sorry Angie got voted off, I prefer her over the other boring 2, what a chore watching the Final. But really looking forward to Adam and Angie singing the next day. Oh, and Buh Bye all you boring people on the panel, I still think Adam will be a good fit for next year, but I will hate reading the haters and there spiel. There was one on the thread over there last nite, makes my blood curl, and it was one that was deleted on another there, how they can say this awful stuff is beyond me.

    For me Angie is the winner. Why?
    Because she gets to sing with Adam. Now she and Adam can concentrate on their killing performance next week. More time to rehearse.
    It will be like Adam’s performance with Kiss … Beth and Detroit. No judging or voting anymore. Just let loose and slay it.

    They’ll show the audience that you don’t have to win to be successful.

    Awwww … Angie is rehearsing with Adam. She gets to be near him, looking at his eyes baby eyes, leaning against him, pretending she can’t hear him well, whisper in his ears, holding music sheets with him, singing .. dancing .. and sharing the stage with him. Awww … You guys do your own imaginations.

    I’d like to hear these versions from glambot, ulti and mils .. because they are badasses.

    There are a couple of Pap videos from last night. One has Adam coming out and getting into the back of a vehicle and ducking down to hide from the paps. It makes me feel so bad for him. He is usually so smiley and happy I hate that he felt the need to hide his face. Cry

    I watched that pap video, read the comments & I think Adam just bumped his head hard while getting in the limo. That’s why he has his head down & holding it. If so, hope he’s ok.

    I would love for him to grow his hair out longer, but could still be able, wear it up, and back.

    Adam and Darren Criss and oh my!!

    I love it when Adam gets all “Fiyero” and offers his arm to ladies. He always looks so proper and gorgeous and charming.

    Yes, I watched that whole Wicked performance last weekend. He was quite good. Better than I even expected. In teh acting department.

    For Ron, and anybody else who likes these things: Last night I saw a show about Carol Channing on HBO or Showtime , it was new from 2012, and had many celebrities sharing their love for her, many old theater clips, etc. She’s over 90 and going strong.

    Anyway, her understudy was Joanne Worley on Broadway for Hello Dolly. Joanne Worley was laughing ( remember her laugh from Laugh In?) and she was saying how everybody was so proud of her for being the great Carol Channing’s understudy, what an honor, how great for her career, etc, except that she never got to go on because Carol never missed a show.

    Sound familiar? Adam made the same comment about Wicked. And guess who played Madame Morrible in his production of Wicked? Joanne Worley. Small world. Six Degrees of Adam Lambert.

    I do so hope that somewhere between all the self-promoting of the judges and their pre-recorded performances and crappola, that there is time left for a Queenbert package.

    G-d knows, nobody wants to see a Randy Jackson package. I’ve seen and heard enough “Yo yo yos’ and dawgs” for a lifetime.

    I saw the pap video of him leaving that venue last night, decided not to post it though as I found it a bit disturbing. I’ve never seen a pic or video of Adam where he was trying to hide from the paps like them, my first thought was, I hope he’s OK, it just seemed a bit strange.

    That picture he posted of him and Darren Criss, Darren looks awful in it…but then I’ve never found him that attractive.

    What is musicdaily apologising for in that photo?

    Love that Scottish interview, loved the look he had going on there.

    Honestly, I didn’t think he looked like he was feeling well in those pics going into the club with Darren Criss’s girlfriend on his arm. Maybe he had a bug or something. But he tweeted that Idol video in the early morning (LA time), didn’t he? So guess all is well.

    I never found Darren Criss to be that attractive either. Seems like a nice guy, though and loads of girls have crushes on him (read that somewhere!).

    Darren is so cute. But, that’s it. Cute. He created a huge fanbase very quickly. He has had a few very good numbers on Glee, most notably, Teenage Dream, rearranged with him at a piano. Methinks it’s a nice connection for Adam. And it seems that Darren’s girlfriend is well-connected. Win-win.

    Interesting that Matthew Bellamy of Muse and his lady Kate Hudson of Smash were also there last night.

    Here’s my theory about why Adam hid his face last night:

    First, he did NOT look happy with the paps walking in to the venue, his mouth was set in a stern expression, especially in those first fotos posted on the previous page. Then, he hides his face on the way out in the car.
    We know Adam remembers faces (many times he remembers fans). I believe those PopCandies guys are the ones from that video early last year (and maybe he recognized the specific guy) that yelled a homophobic slur at him as he drove away from a club and it was caught ON VIDEO.
    Of course he couldn’t avoid them on the way in, but he did ignore them. So, he hid his face on the way out. IMHO.

    Mils, that Des Moines show was one of my favorites. Meeting the Californis folks, having RainbowGal and Goatie and Mlg there, partying with Jlurks and having you for a roommate what more could I want?     So I have the house to myself tonight, which pretty much NEVER happens. So what am I doing?

    Watching Queen + Adam at Hammersmith, day 3, on the big-screen TV with surround sound, of course. It is glorious! I have Angel our dove (bird) perched on my head, Rio our Corgi (dog) lying at my elbow, and Tigerlily our cat curled up at my feet. Everyone living in harmony, enjoying the awesomeness of this epic show. Gah, this DVD brings back such wonderful memories of being at those incredible London Queenbert shows.

    Just finished Who Wants to Live Forever. I’m in heaven.

    (jlurksacto, I have YOU to thank for giving me this amazing DVD. Thank you SO MUCH!) (Who recorded it, by the way? Amazing quality of both sound and picture.)

    If she could pick one judge to come on board next season, who has never been on the show, who would it be? “That’s such a hard question! There are so many people. I think it would be so cool if someone who has been on American Idol before came on the show as a judge.”

    What can Angie spill about her duet with Adam Lambert on the finale? “That’s the great thing. I’m not going anywhere, I’m still here. I’m going to start rehearsing and practicing for the finale this week. I’m so excited. I don’t know 100% what’s going to be going on yet, I’m so excited to be singing again. I’ll be singing on the Nokia stage, and I really can’t wait.”

    I just got home from the ballet. Tonight was the premiere of a full-length ballet called Balletlujah!, featuring the music of k.d.lang. There were about a dozen of her songs and as the director/choreographer said, ‘a lot of them are about love, so we built the ballet around the love between two women.’ How’s that for radical? It was fabulous. And k.d. was there. You should have heard the roar of the crowd. Standing ovations and three curtain calls. She has such an incredible voice. Listening to her after watching AI gave me a real appreciation for how utterly superb her singing is. Only idol who could keep up with her, of course is Adam. I would so love to hear them do a duet.

    hkfan they, musicdaily, were sorry for the story they posted, and I posted, that Adam was meeting a prostitute. On page 15.

    calgary Darren was with them when they arrive. For some reason Darren, you can see him, running around the car into the hotel, and right by Adam and Mia.

    I saw the video of him ducking in the car. Part of the job, annoying, frustrated, headache, whatever he is fine. He has tweeted 3 times today that I saw and all were self promoting or upbeat. Trespassing is still holding and more promo next week plus tomorrow. Maybe Idol next year with all the hoopla? All really great things. More positive things happening than has been in the US for awhile so yay! I am one very happy fan.

    Calgary – I would caution against putting much credence into speculation that Mia is not Darren’s real girlfriend. I saw some comments from obvious Darren Criss/Chris Colfer fans that expressed strong dislike for Mia. She obviously gets in the way of their shipping Darren and Chris together, to make Blaine/Kurt fantasies come true in real life. (Or, their own fantasies of being with him.) Sound familiar? Just like the cray Adommy fans never believed that Adam and Sauli were a real couple.
