Adam receiving the “Most Popular International Artist” award at the CMAs

After we were showered with Adam goodies in April, let’s see what flowers in May. With recent tweets about new music and GLAAD honoring Adam with the Davidson/Valentini Award, May seems as if it will be a very merry month indeed. Asif and Ron are correct, we do not have a no spoiler rule at this site, and I don’t want to have one. The way I see it, this site is focused on Adam rather than Idol, so whatever Idol information happens to get posted early such that it’s a spoiler for some, so be it. If folks want to voluntarily refrain from posting such items until after the West Coast viewing time it’s fine, but I’m not going to enforce a rule on it. With peeps in this site from around the world, it will always be a spoiler for someone anyway.

So, there I am, watching Idol, all comfy and cozy, in my PJ’s early after a killer of a day, realing and snuggly, when

Adam’s package popped up on my big TV screen, all full of happy happy pretty pretty and yummy yummy. My heart beats faster and I know what I’m after! My fingers kept hitting the rewind button and Mils is one happy Glambert!!

It’s a pocketful of win! He’s gorgeous. He’s gracious. His shirt is open a few extra buttons. He’s super skinny. His hair is way up high. He’s dancing. He has back up dancers. His audience loves him. They wave bumblebee sticks.

And he’ll be back next week in a very special duet. The way Ryan said it, I’m still going with Queenbert + Angie. I hope they do a Queen + Adam package next week. I hope they show a shot of the Kiev crowd of 250,000 doing Radio Gaga or shouting his name.

I am completely disappointed in Angie’s elimination, and instantly thought of that article posted by someone here recently about the south and voting styles for Idol.

I do like Candace a lot, however, her version of Somewhere was so pitchy and off and the judges heaped so much praise on her, I just don’t get why they don’t hear what we hear. Don’t they wear any in the ear thingies either?

Randy is leaving? Okay. Buh-bye.

Crap. Now we’ll have to endure his package next week. Hope it doesn’t cut into Adam’s time. I really don’t want to see Randy’s package.

Sasha has been on Glee. And was runner-up on SYTYCD.

Johnny has been on both Glee and Smash.

Terrance has been on the Oscars and tons of TV shows.

I’m happy for them.

But. I want Adam on network TV. On something other than Idol.

He looked and sounded gorgeous. So glad Trespassing seems to have had a bit of a bump. Wish they had mentioned grammy nomination, and a brief clip of him and Queen….but still good.They should have just made it half an hour long and done away with all the other filler!!
Where abouts in the programme was it, in case I don’t want to watch it all?
Shame Angies gone, I would have liked a Janelle/Angie finale, to me they were the only 2 with any personality and stage presence, and they both seemed the most marketable.
Really don’t get the Candice love, in fact I’ve gone off her more as the seasons gone on. Her personality doesn’t seem to come across very well, and everything she sings is just so dated.
Saying that, I don’t mind who wins as I probably won;t be buying or following either of them..

Hkfan. About 35 minutes in. I don’t think they mentioned anything else because they wanted it to be all about Idol to remind people how great it is and ratings/buzz. My opinion, of course. They made him look fantastic,as we know he is so yay!

Morning! How wonderful that our fellow got such a great bump in Itune sales just from his pretty spectacular “package”. Am keeping my fingers crossed that his performance next week will keep the momentum going. My sister texted me after the show last night that Adam would be on the finale. Still think it is funny when someone in my family or close friends are naive enough to think I wouldn’t know every bit of Adam-related news.

So I watched Idol for the first time this season last week following luval’s suggestion. I was surprised to enjoy all three performers and sort of fell in love with Candace. Kree didn’t bowl me over but you have to admit her back story was compelling. I admire her for not using it during the entire season ala Gokey. I didn’t hate the judges either but I heard they were on their best behavior last week too. A fresh start next season isn’t a bad idea.

So glad that Adam is performing and co-wrote the Life Ball song. I hope he bares his chest in true Alibaba fashion. I’d be surprised if “melvin” wasn’t there as well.
