After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

OK, thank you all for the recognition, sorry to whine, I was beginning to wonder that you all thought I was an SPG, whatever that is, I’ll have to look it up, but I know it’s frowned upon here to say the least.
I really love this site, it’s my safe haven; where I can flail and not be eye-rolled or looked at like I have two heads, which is the reaction I get when I start to ramble and then I realize it’s time to shut-up.

So much is going on in our Adam world. I just found out about the Bravo network showing “Watch What Happens” with Adam and one other guest tonite from 10-10:30 Central time tonight.

luval, I heard that his shows in Vegas were cancelled due to a major respiratory infection.
It’s saying he has a respiratory infection and doctors don’t want him to perform for seven day.

missdyfyed: I will do the courtesy of letting you and other lurkers who don’t know what “SPG” stands for. Since I am responsible for this unfortunate abbreviation and term. I created it after my Labor Day weekend trip on Glamnation to Rockford where I was “kidnapped ” by jojosie, goatiegarden and madnessinmotion and “forced” to go with them to Peoria for another show.
I posted several recaps on Mj’s in those threads about our adventures. And believe me, we had adventures!!
Anyway, I ( we) had several up close and personal encounters with a type of super fan that I termed Seriously Professional Glamberts. These “ladies” as a group or type, are pushy, assertive, selfish, always in front, always edging others out,over dressed-to kill, not generous, and overall very demanding of Adam’s face time. They seem to show up in clusters everywhere. Always at stage front and center. Older than 29. Rude. To say the least. A group of them were even in Europe and were seen faking needing to use canes in order to get preferred handicap seating. There was much discussion about them during the latter part of GN. They are visible in a lot of videos. We have identified several of them by names, fansite names, etc.
Whatever. They are not going away. Adam seems to tolerate them, and we know that they have given Adam very expensive gifts, Including that big silver feather necklace he has worn so often. They have become chummy with the band, and with Adam’s mom and Tommy’s mom too. Nobody knows how they score front center hands on stage seats for EVERY show.
What’s interesting, is that several of us have seen talk about “them” in other blogs too.
So, we have kind of agreed to just try not to talk about it too much. It’s a downer. And, never to act like they do.
I will do my best to follow suit. I’m done for now.

OOOh. Poor Elton. He’s gotta get better. He needs to perfom with our guy in 6 weeks!!

mils, is that confirmed yet? I know they were talking about a show in Kiev but have not seen a firm date yet. Adam mentioned doing 6 shows with Queen – 3 in London, Moscow, Wroclaw + I guess the one with Elton John.
For those of you who watched Idol last night, what is with the skin tight body suits? I didn’t see one person that looked good in one and I feel the same about Adams back-up singers. The only positive was that I might look better in one than most of them did. Scary . Fantasia was the worst, but even J-LO didn’t look too good. I voted for Phil and was glad he won. I’m tired of the wgwg tag however as they are very little alike. I voted for Cook and Phil of the two winners. If Adam had played a guitar would we feel the same? I was on a little road trip for work today and got to hear the cd in full several times and Trespassing is still my favorite. I like them all but Pop That Lock is at the bottom of the list. Happy for those going to shows, but truthfully a little jealous too. Keep us informed

Second week sales typically drop off about 65% which would be 27k of the 77k sold last week. The two week total would be over 100k so that would be good. Of course, it’s still better if he sold even more but there is plenty of good buzz so let’s hope that the album continues to sell well.
The new single NCOE is going for ads on Top 40 on the 29th so hopefully more radio stations will start playing it resulting in more single and album sales. After all, they are the ones who supposedly chose that song over the others on the album! So play NCOE already!!
Anybody watching Watch What Happens Live? They played a game called Plead The Fifth. Andy Cohen asked Adam to name 3 nice things about Clay Aiken. He said “I can’t think of any.” Andy said “Do you Plead The Fifth?” Adam said “No, I just can’t think of any nice things.”
He’s gonna piss Clay Aiken fans but it was funny.

I opened my new People magazine. He has a much bigger spread, 1/4 page, big nice picture. But, the article is half about Adam. And about how Adam’s star shines so much brighter than Kris’. And then, it says that Trespassing is better than Cammillia “hands down.”
So, Kris got a bigger article, and better picture, but, half of his review was about someone else. And how he is in his shadow.

Not much to do here in WB. Guess Adam and the gang should be busing in from New Jersey soon. I think the bus(s) will be parked right outside of the Hotel. It’s right at the back entrance of the venue.
So we are off to do some shopping and sight seeing. The rest of the peeps should be arriving soon.
