After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

Just got done with idol. Nice to see 3 girls left and only 2 guys. I would like to see Jessica and Holly or Joshua on the Final. Nobody was really bad tonight, I just don’t like PP. Joshua and PP did a duet tonight Righteous Bros. “You’ve Lost that Lovin’ Feeling” and seemed uncomfortable singing a love song together. The judges commented on it.

Which ever way you slice it or dice it, Bieb’s is just copying Adam’s cover art. It may not be his fault, but his team should do something and fast to correct this. Adam’s CD is already printing and ready to drop. Jimmy Kimmel just held it up on national TV.
So, let’s see, so far the fetus has double guages in his ears, a certain pompadour hairdo, and interesting cover art. Hmmm. Looks like somebody is just a big ‘ol copy cat.
Anybody else voting for Joshua tonight? Love him. Love his style, his clothes ( jacket and drapey shirt anyone? ) his dancing his stage presence and his voice.

Haven’t watched Idol yet,if I could vote, I wouldn’t be voting for Joshua, while I like his voice, his looks, persona and singing style just don’t do anything for me. Not very keen on Skylars voice. I quite like listen to Phil Phillips, don’t think I would buy his music though. Love Jessicas voice, but I find I just don’t believe her when she sings, she always seems like she’s acting. Love Hollies voice, have put a few of her performances on my Ipod, her voice is crystal clear, I think the judges have messed with her head though.

Everywhere I have read about it, suspicion is that Bieber copied Adam, because Adam’s album cover came out almost 2 months ago.
I even read somewhere that his new video has a scene copying a scene in the FYE video with the hands all over Adam. And now, he NAMED his penis Jerry, and “Bieber Playing With Jerry” was trending on Twitter. Don’t know any other popstars with named anatomy….
He’s trying to sex himself up, but bloggers keep saying he unfortunately looks like a 14-yr-old girl, which makes it kind of difficult.
Can’t really pick fights, though, cause lots of his fans are Adam followers too. Bieber or his people must have been following Adam to learn stuff. Seems to me this all heated up (the copying, the gauges, etc.) right after the EMAs, where Adam outshone Bieber (and everybody else)!

plagiarismcoincidence happened!It’s no secret that Adam has been copied before. The week after his WWFM on Idol, Christina used the IDENTICAL green laser cone with smoke on Oprah.
Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears copied parts of the FYE video, this was commented in several gossip blogs.
His hair has been copied by several, including Bieber.
However, the album cover has a LOGIC to it in Adam’s case: Trespassing is tied in with Caution, and dangerous areas/crime scenes, etc. are taped off with YELLOW tape with black lettering. So, it makes artistic sense, and I’m sure Lee and Adam chose it for that reason. The foto of Adam is in a very similar style to the single cover for BTIKM, so he was already going in that direction.
The same coloring has absolutely NO significance on Bieber’s cover with the word Believe.

The covers are so unusual, and are so much alike…how could Bieber think that it wouldn’t be noticed? or did he just assume that everyone would think that he was of course first? and that the new guy copied him?(shakes head) It just doesn’t make any sense! Well, sticking my neck out here, I chalk it up to simple arrogance – just like in the case of the other pretty obvious copiers.
I think they perceive Adam still as being somewhat “unnoticable” from inside their bubbles. It’s like, “Oh, who’s gonna notice or even care?”
Unfortunately for them, he has gained a lot of “notice” in the past 6 or 7 months. I am astounded at the number of articles lately that mention Adam as a benchmark of vocal excellence, or as an outstanding performer, or being of a certain style, in addition to articles that actually are about him.

It is a little nauseating, he looks like a little kid trying to act like a man. You can tell he’s eating all of this attention up and walking around like he’s the next Brad Pitt. I can’t even remember the last time I seen him perform at a awards show or some type of televised performance, that he didn’t lip sync instead of singing live.

On the Biebs cover – IA with riskylady but I feel that if Bieber had been shown Adam’s cover when he was approving his cover, he would have at least used a color other than yellow. I think his peeps let him down – shouldn’t he be perceived as the trendsetter, not the copier? Although, it is getting some publicity for AFL’s amazing album and that’s got to be a good thing. And it shows that Adam is hip enough, even at the advanced age of 30, to be copied! I’m with Krads that I’d really like to know the backstory on this one!

Well, the bottom line regarding the cover art situation is this: Adam’s was unveiled, and presumably conceived, first. Also, Adam’s is hands down better; it’s grittier, it has so much more depth visually, and Adam’s “image” is just so much hotter than Bieber’s. Still, it’s going to be interesting …

I planned to keep a low profile for a while considering what may have appeared to be forcing myself down people’s throats the other night with the video. I certainly hope it didn’t come across that way, or my being self indulgent, as that wasn’t my intention at all. But I can understand, and I apologize, if it did seem that way. I just thought, one way or another, good bad or indifferent, that you might find it interesting just as I’d be interested in seeing and hearing all of you.
The word arrogant was used to describe Justin Beiber and that’s exactly what I thought when he arrived at the MuchMusic Awards the year Adam won for WWFM. This was the first time that I ever really saw him other than pics in magazines. He emerged from his limo and was doing an almost pimp-like strut on the red carpet as he made his way to the interviewer. Hands in his pockets, strutting along and chewing gum which he continued to chew when talking to one of the Hosts. He didn’t come across to me as likeable at all and instead rather full of himself.
I think, if there ever is any kind of official explanation for the similar album covers, the word “coincidence” might come up a lot.

I just got a notice from the Adam Lambert Global Store that my order was sent out today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!That means that it might even arrive before the 15th!!!!!!!!!
Now I just have to see when the one I ordered from Amazon will arrive. lol. I had been planning to get one from i-tunes on the 15th since I didn’t think I could wait a day to hear the full album, let alone the few weeks that I thought it would take, but I am so glad the hard copy CD is coming first.
And, of course, when I am in London for the Adam and Queen concert (I can still hardly believe I am saying that) I will pick up the UK version with the 2 extra songs.
Am dying to know too the background details of Bieber’s cover. I can’t imagine his camp not being aware of this. Wonder how we can find out? Anybody follow Biebs on twitter? Maybe I should just tweet him and ask.

I dont get Beiber and never will. His song is so stupid, and the boy cant sing period. He is just a trademark. Everyone is trying push him to be the next whatever, MJ who knows. But he cant sing. And copying Adam is the worst thing ever because he or they are copying the best singer in the universe, well maybe not cause Randy J said on Idol last nite that Josuha was the best singer in 50 years, lol.
