After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

My son and I were in Quebec City a few years ago when there was a heat spell…the hotel where we stay didn’t have air conditioning then, it is a townhouse in the old city…hotel guest peeps were sleeping on the fire escape, kind of a nice adventure. Canada doesn’t do heat well but Canadians are very resourceful!

That background color, Ron. Quite possibly the most electrifying of any avatar I’ve seen.
Jicama is very mild, a little starchy, almost a potato-apple. It makes a lot of juice and blends really well with other things. You will need to experiment for your own taste. I was not a big ginger fan either, but now I just love it in my juices. I’m kinda into limes now too.

If it means anything, it was hot, hawt, and humid here yesterday, over 80 degrees, we had a huge thunderstorm in the evening, and now today it is cold. Really cold. So, maybe our cold will make it’s way to you by tomorrow.
I’m also no good in the heat. I absolutely melt and have a hard time functioning. Must be my Russian blood.

I use Firefox all the time but, on this site until recently, I couldn’t see anyone’s avatars, there were no emoticons and I couldn’t edit my comments. I had to use IE where everything was in place.
For another reason entirely, for the first time ever, I did what’s called “Create a New Profile” for Firefox. It carries over all of your bookmarks, add-ons, etc. so you don’t have to worry about losing all of that information.
After I did the new profile thing, I was very surprised when I came here to see everyone’s avatars, emoticons showing and I could edit.
It’s a very simple procedure but, if you’re not comfortable doing it, ask your husband or son to do it for you. I think it’ll make all the difference for you and others who have been having some problems with Firefox and this site.
Also, and only on IE, I had to manually type in the emoticon code. Now, all I have to do is click on one of the emoticons for them to appear in the post. I know you don’t use them but I just thought I’d add that.
When Adam’s on Idol, at least Hollie or P2 will still be there – maybe both – who knows. Howz that gonna work out after what he tweeted.
Evidently someone, a Canadian, has received her box set. Yes she has the cd in her hands! She must have to hide it from her family, so is unable to play it right now!

Hi Ron! Thanks for the advice. I may try it. We had computer problems recently, and hubby ordered a new protection thingy, and it did some weird stuff to certain functions. I have to use Firefox, or if I don’t, when I watch anything from Youtube or connect to any links, the filter goes into “clean” mode and shuts everything down. Hubby is trying to see what can be done with the company that makes this well-known protection service.
So, I’m stuck with Firefox, which is OK. Like you said, I really don’t use emoticons. But, I am still without buttons. This happened several weeks after hubby made his changes.

Yes, I think it’ll clear everything up as it accidentally did for me. Even though I’d install each new version of Firefox, corrupted files happen all the time on PC’s and would be carried over to the new version. I think that’s what might have happened with me. “Creating a New Profile” has the same effect as if you’re downloading Firefox clean and fresh for the first time but, again, with bookmarks and personal preferences in place and left intact.

Maybe so Ron. It gets hard here because we have 4 people who use this computer, with multiple purposes, and multiple browsers, e-mails, etc. It seems to be Facebook users who make problems here. That would be the young men who live here. I figure that once they are both out of the house next fall, and I have an empty nest, hopefully, the computer stuff will calm down. But, I won’t have them around to help me do “stuff.”
It’s so odd because my hubby is an electrical engineer. He designs software but is useless at doing things like helping me with an avatar. Go figure!! It’s kind of like the plumber with a leaky faucet at home!!

BTIKM just played on channel V, so good to see it on the big screen.
Re the heat, its a bit cooler today here, only about 26c, but with 95% humidity. I’m just taking a break from having to empty all my drawers and clean them with diluted bleach to get rid of the mould. Its never ending at the moment. In 15 years here I haven’t noticed the mould this bad before. We have 1 dehumidifier going constantly, unfortunately our other one broke.
