After the amazing arena tour with Queen, Adam now settles back to his solo music. This month the full Velvet album is set to launch and with that comes promo on TV and radio. So much for taking a break after 2 months of concerts!

    So What does everyone here think about the new songs. I like a few but this is probably my least favorite of all of Adam’s CD’s. Just not connecting with most of them. Neutral

    The Weeknd is going to sell millions I think with his new album. I’m only familiar with one song of his.

    Having the same problem with internet. All day.

    Adam had the live iheart IG and went through each song on his album. And he just about sang along with every song.

    He said some of the physical CD’s were sent out without any vocals on New Eyes. Big mistake. I imagine on the pre-orders.

    He bought new equipment to record on for his house. (from Amazon).

    I love Stranger You Are, don’t like On The Moon at all.

    Adam said you can karaoke New Eyes and send your vocals to him. Make some fun out of it.

    I’m struggling with some of this album too.
    Not loving every song at first listen.

    Velvet, Roses, Closer to You, Superpower are my faves.

    As far as older songs, Runnin, still does it for me.

    Just received the CD today, and have put off listening to the “new” songs till I can play it. But so far I’m obsessed with Roses, love Superpower, and mesmerized by the in-studio version of Closer to You!

    The material is so varied, so all over the musical spectrum – can’t wait to hear the rest…

    Something inside me is changing. I realize after the three weeks without internet that I`m so damn annoyed by all this “f*ck” “motherf*cker” “bitch” and so on talk. Maybe it`s because I was raised not allowed to use those words and I`m now not 16 anymore (haha, that`s long ago).

    That hurts because I know he`s a nice person and has a huge heart. But as we all change in life and grow and walk our personal way I feel that Adams life is so different to mine and that I don`t understand him in so many ways at the moment.

    Maybe one day there will be that feeling/connection again that I felt over the last years when it came to Adam, but right now I feel a distance growing to him and his life constantly. So I will accept that and let`s see what the future brings. That`s life, isn`t it?

    Weird..The Weeknd’s album is called After Hours and a song on it is After Hours. Thief!!

    I’m curious on what the fuss is about but don’t want to give him a hit on any streams. It’s getting millions of streams already. The song titles are really depressing.
