Hope everyone’s doing OK, trying times for us all….Being in HK we have been facing this for 2 months now, seems the rest of the world is catching up these last 3 weeks…daughter has not been to school since 23rd Jan (still have to pay though!!), one son lost one of his part time jobs, youngest son has lost his job (due to the virus, he is a football coach), and husband is on unpaid leave from his company…he works for an airline, a terrible business to be in right now…Back in feb HK was a place to be avoided at all costs, everyone laughing at the videos of Hkers panic buying toilet paper, now it seems to be one of the places to look to as in 2 months our total cases stands at 148 with 4 deaths (84 discharged). We seem to have coped pretty well, but I fear the cost to many will be very high
I feel for Adam…everytime things are in a good place for him industry wise something seems to happen to knock him back….but at least QAL has given him financial security…

It’s been awhile.
I check in here almost everyday but don’t have much to say.
Thanks HK Fan, for your up-dates. I’ve been thinking of you. Sorry about your husband’s and sons’ jobs. Things will get better soon. Glad that everybody is healthy.
I also keep in contacts with my relatives in Thailand. The government there has done a good job. Things could have gotten worse because Thailand is a hotbed for tourists especially from China. But Thai government and Thai people are in together to get through this crisis. The economy will have affected many lives as well besides the virus.
I feel bad for Adam. He has waited for so long for this baby “VELVET”. But Adam is fine and luckier than many. He is financially secured. Thanks to Queen.

We (almost) could have met at the end of this month.
I just cancelled my 2 week trip to DC. to view the cherry blossoms. Southwest Airlines is very good to their customers. I recommend.
Also my Cher (ft. Nile Rodgers) concert on April 19 at Sprint Center is cancelled. Sprint Center is the venue that hosts the basketball March Madness. All events are cancelled so far.
I hope our family trip to Europe (Spain, Portugal, Prague and Budapest) in August – September will be OK. We cannot cancel this one. All cost is paid already. Travel Insurance doesn’t cover the cancellation because of Coronavirus.
Hope by August Europe opens their borders again. Spain is quite bad right now after Italy.
Poor Javi. I heard he was sick with flu. He might have facetime with Adam. Sauli’s birthday is coming soon. He looks more gorgeous everyday.
Well, I don’t mean to bring bad news here. Better keep quiet.

What he says about “Closer to You” is what I’ve thought. Those lines…”I almost got the life I wanted”…..”I feel like I’m running out of time” are so emotional. He’s 38 now and still alone, I feel for him especially in these times. I feel so lucky to have a partner in life.
Thankfully Adam has such very good and loyal friends, plus a great family.
