QAL tour ticket sales, TV appearances, Grammy and Oscar parties, fashion week and even some recording nibbles satisfied our appetite for Adam news. The next few months will most likely be spent in the studio – think Pink! – and we may find out what the photo shoot was about. All this while we wait for the QAL tour to kick off in June. Congrats to ALL those who snagged tickets and to those who cannot make it to any concerts take comfort that ALL will still be around to cover them LIVE!

    Did you see it?

    The glowing eyes of King Samuil’s monument in Sofia have nothing to do with street art. There is a solar panel hidden in his crown and his eyes actually glow at night. They are intended by the sculptor to represent king’s feelings after the battle near Belasitsa, when he saw his 15 000 soldiers blinded by the Bizantium emperor, leaving only 1 one eyed man at every 100, to help them find their way home for their king, their wifes and children to see them. This is the last moment of Samuil’s life, just after that he died of heart attack. And the monument of the soldiers is on the other side of the street, the king is acctually staring at them. The author’s name is not unknown – he is Alexander Haitov and I think that his father Nikolai Haitov made the monument of the soldiers many years ago.
