So that means pleasant times ahead for many old and new Adam fans as he winds his The Original High Tour across the U.S. And with a short break around March 15th perhaps that could mean an Idol appearance or some filming for the RHPS. Adam always keeps us guessing but we’ll find out soon enough!

Everywhere I look I see angry Glamberts…on Twitter, Facebook etc. I dont like it that he cut the setlists too, would love to hear him sing or talk for weeks (I can dream, right?) but dont like the aggressive tone some ppl show on Twitter

Geez, I love the missing songs too but he tweeted they’ll be back. Really don’t like the scolding tone of some on Twitter. They wanted a tour, he’s sandwiched in some nice dates, working his ass off. Maybe they’ll do more in the late summer/fall.
And rs and I were speculating he might have preferred the small to medium venues, filled with his people, better to sell out than not, and he does arenas with Queen. He made nice money with GNT doing the same, and merch seems to be doing well. I suppose they’re also selling CDs right?
If you go to the Voice twitter, it looks like they asked fans to send in pictures which they then juxtaposed with one of the 4 judges. Someone must have thought it was a lot of fun to send in Adam’s picture, lol. I’m thinking the Voice didn’t know that was a promotional picture for another artist. Very cagey!!
Nothing else to add! Really the pace he is doing – its just wow. He is doing a kick-ass tour all over the world, trying to make his fans all over the world happy – and ppl still bitch about it. Yes, I will be sad too if I dont get to hear Runnin’, Chokehold, TISI etc. BUT I know I will be more than happy to see him on stage again, getting my fix of him life on stage again singing his ass off almost every night for his fans. Yep, thats enough for me.
I get that ppl are angry about him not doing a 90min set, I dont know how long other artists play – still think its something else and not just him not wanting to do 90min sets…its not like he is bored on stage…

Hey Cait and Riskylady, I totally agree! The thing I’ve noticed is that Adam very, very seldom complains about physical ailments or admits to having less than perfect physical condition when he’s in tour mode, the kind of things everyone experiences at some time. Geesh, sometimes I wonder if he’s made himself into a perfect perform-bot with vocal cords of steel.
Wonder if this is a discipline left over from his early exposure/training in the theater, where you don’t talk about having a cold, stomach ache, allergies, etc. when you are a professional, because you don’t want your audience to worry about that. But. It might mean that some shows are shorter than others or certain songs aren’t song so that the best decision is made for the continuity of the tour as a whole.
Of course, I could be totally wrong…

Well, Tothebeat – been thinking along those lines, too. This is a tough tour – in buses – performances close together in different states. I’m sure he wants to please his fans and is doing his very best – hate to think of his getting those entitled complaints while singing his heart out.
