February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    Does anybody notice a cute little 7th band member in this photo?

    Never noticed it before. It seems to be a little fox so probably belongs to Brian since it’s behind his stage area. Maybe part of the “Save Me” campaign?

    A few weeks ago on twitter someone posted a youtube link about the American Idol Top 10 interviewed on Larry King by Seacrest. Cant find it anymore….

    I was wondering the song “Cant let you go” from FYE… It wasnt a single was it? Was it played in some movie soundtrack? I somehow know that song from somewhere but cant figure it out

    I have just listened to it and it sounds very familiar to me too. I thought immediately off Within Temptation or some band who is similar but can’t find the correct song to it. Are you familiar with Within Temptation as well? I know they are known in Germany as well.

    Yep very familiar lol have the albums…have to check it out. Thank you skachep, maybe that will help. Even wrote a friend if she had used it for some vid or so

    A while ago someone wondered what they were saying on Polish TV about QAL, so I asked agathe.hb (who just happens to be a professional translator!) and she just sent this to me:

    even though without the Freddie, the legendary frontman of Queen, the atmosphere in the audience was very hot even before the concert started

    Queen and Adam Lambert opened on time, they started with „One Vision”, and the new, 30-year old frontman did quite a good job

    and even though the winner of the American Idol cannot match Freddie’s genius, he is his worthy successor, according to even most fervent fans

    the guy: Adam Lambert and Queen combination is a very good one – he is as extravagant as Freddie and a good vocalist

    13 thousand crowd cheered phenomenal Brian May and 66 year old Roger Taylor who shined in the „It’s the kind of magic”

    musical reporter: Roger Taylor was excellent, and I just thought it would be a good idea, if he became the lead vocalist and his son took over the drums”

    the details of Queen’s arrival remained unknown to the very end – it’s a tradition that the band keeps its secrets

    the girl: the only thing we knew beforehand, is that they needed a masseur, a dedicated massage room and special furniture

    the band still remains attractive to the younger audience, who have never heard or seen the band in the original composition

    the young girl: Queen will always be great entertainment, even more so, when combined with Adam Lambert

    during the 3-hour show there were quite a few eye tearing moments, for example when Mr. Freddie appeared not only in spirit

    this was their second concert in Poland, again perfectly played and very well received by the Polish audience

    The only weird thing is the suggestion that Roger become lead vocalist (instead of Adam????) while Rufus takes over on drums. WTF?

    And I wish they would get their facts straight. Roger is 65, not 66, and for the last time…..Adam didn’t win American Idol!!!!!!

    Oh ulti, thanks so much for posting that !! That was by far the best one, of the whole tour. Sometimes that was so awkward, always fun, but it just didn’t hit the groove so many times, but, LOL, at the end of the tour, it was just all good!! IMHO

    Adam is just all confidence, swagger, and coordinated moves, so strong, such a leader, such a force on stage. He’s just unmatched anywhere.

    rs I loved looking through your pictures. I went through quickly but saw some true gems. The KQ sequence was especially fun! Thank you. Lady North, you are up next.

    Cait,TY for posting the old Larry King show. I watched it with a different perspective this time around and found myself uncomfortable at times watching Adam’s body language when certain members of the top 10 spoke.

    Do you guys think this whole @theversion thing is bogus?

    I just read Shosh tweets and answers and I think theversion thing is nothing… Can’t bring the tweets here with tablet, but she said she is the one who makes all the announcement and that no one has heard the single. There was also some discussion about radio stations and radio play.

    LadyNorth, there are all kinds of sites that upload photos that let you share them. Everyone has their favorites and most are free. Picasa came with my computer, but can easily be downloaded and it is an simple way to make adjustments to the photos if you want to and you can upload what you want to web albums. Then you can share them with whoever you want. I really like it. Once you download it, it will put the photos from your computers picture files into albums. Why don’t you check it out? I tried others but always come back to picasa.
