February went roaring out like a lion with Queen and Adam wrapping up their sold-out 26 city tour of Europe and UK. March is all Lambert as he heads home or to a possible vacation spot for a well-deserved rest. That will be short-lived though as the promo for The Original High picks up with the single release GHOST TOWN scheduled for April 21st.

This month’s main photo is from the BRITs red carpet. Adam attended the event with the head of the Warner Brothers label and just happened to be in the neighborhood.

    Luval, your London recap was wonderful. And, LOL, the best part of my Novotel stays in Toronto, was my roommates. Both times.

    In response to your post about fans being mean to each other, sheesh. Not everyone can recall every single tidbit of info, and some fans are new. Not everyone has been on this ride since “mama.” I don’t get it either.

    That’s why I just sent my check to eywflwer to keep this happy friendly place going. If he doesn’t have enough, I’ll send more. Glad to do it.

    “erotic sludge’s” videos from Sheffield are pretty good. Not necessarily clear & steady but right from the standing crowd. You can hear all the men cheering & laughing at Adam’s funny faces.

    Methinks we’ll need to start a “best of” QAL list sometime soon. You know, for our “down time.”

    I’m hoping for some clubs and sightings, and some pre-CD press. Award show season is over, and he was so busy with QAL he missed a lot of red carpets here.

    I’m goingto try real hard this time after a tour NOT to get all Debbie Downer, and motherly smotherly.

    I’d rather revel in all the recent greatness. That’s why I think a “best of” list will really help.

    Let’s see, hmmmm, I’ll suggest some categories:

    -Best STL wails. There’s two in each song, the “laaawwwdddd” and the “toooooo.”

    -Best KQ spit. Subcategories: Longest spit. And most salacious comments post spit to fans that were spat upon.

    -Best STL twirl.

    -Best Riiiiide.

    -Best SCC thrust.

    -Best fringe pic.

    -Funniest place a fringe ended up.

    -Sweatiest pic.

    -Highest kick.

    -Best goofy face pic.

    -Lowest fringe slipping.

    -Most dramatic disco ball moment,

    -Best item tossed on stage ( hats, underwear, toys ).

    -Best thing said to Brian when he sat on the KQ “chez lung”.

    -Best post here, funniest comment, most memorable quip.

    -Best truck picture.

    -Best response to “What do you think of the new guy?”

    -Best mic lick.

    -Most sexy outrageous ridiculous over the top moments. I do nominate Dragon Attack at Toronto 2. I just need to. ** cough**

    -Any other categories?

    Michael Orland (piano guy on American Idol)just answered a tweet of mine to him. Second time. Brian May has favorited a few of my tweets to him but never replied. I think that’s about it as far as celebrities! LOL!….oh forgot about Eber. He’s replied to me a couple of times. About sports haha.

    That might be the problem. Remembering something in your mind but not remembering which show it was! Only “thing” I remember is when the mic stopped working at the Chicago show! Will never forget that. Yikes!

    I remember that so well! Glambot and I were leaning on each other and just “oh no-ing ” all over each other, And I was thinking, stop trying to scream Adam, you will ruin your voice, and then he just handled it so very well.

    michael Orland tweeted his followers that he ruined his iphone, spilling something on it and was panicking a bit. My words…couldn’t find the original tweet.

    luval thank you for the great recap. It is always fun to hear all the travel tidbits above and beyond the concert. I absolutely know what you mean about sharing the experience with a fellow flail-er versus a friend who is interested.

    Love the idea of an album release party even if done virtually. Another gathering when the record goes to BB#1. Wilkes-Barre was definitely a special occasion for us and for Adam. It would be great to have that as a do-over.

    luval– Thanks so much for your London recap. I loved hearing all the details about your trip and, of course, the concert. I’m happy that you got such a plum spot in front of the B-stage. There’s nothing quite like being with within spitting range of our guy.

    Speaking of spitting range, my vote for the best champagne spray is the Philadelphia show where yours truly along with nkd, cwm, and adamized made such spectacles of ourselves that we got sprayed not once but twice by Adam. Even Adam was cracking up at our squealing and “thank you’s”. I think we were the only fans who had the honor of a double christening. And did we ever get soaked! Adam is a man of many talents!
