The musical force that is Adam is marching full speed ahead. With recent appearances on Drag Race, AI and Glee, he is making his way back into the limelight (not that he ever left it for us here). With a news conference set for Thursday, March 6th at Madison Square Garden, we are sure to find out details of a Queen + AL tour. So get ready to jump on the bus! Oh, and don’t forget that Adam is still appearing on Glee and working on his own music too!

With the special announcement coming it was suggested to use a Q+AL photo for this month’s header. But what about all the other great photos from last month? Oh, the dilemma! Well, I hope this photo is a compromise. Taken at the London show by Mark Gledhill (glemazon), it shows Adam in the shadows about to emerge into the full spotlight. Cross your whatsits so that this tour results in getting this multi-talented performer the respect and recognition that he merits.

    Lambert rose to fame by winning the eighth season of American Idol. He has since released a pair of studio albums: 2009′s For Your Entertainment and 2012′s Trespassing.

    Ah..poor thing comes to beautiful warm Miami and has to get sick. One of the best hospitals nearby though. University of Miami/Jackson Memorial teaching hospital. Ultra has been jam packed. Making traffic crazy downtown for this weekend and next! I’m staying far away. Got caught in it last year going to Alicia Keys’ concert and it was a nightmare. Took me 2 hrs to get home afterwards. And that was by train!!

    Woke up to hear about another earthquake in California. Hope all my Cali peeps are OK and didn’t sustain any damage. Am I a terrible fan for not knowing where Adam is now?     rs – No, you’re not a bad fan! I don’t think any of us know where Adam is. We know that Sauli was in Stockholm with Adam last weekend, then returned to Finland for a couple of days, then home to LA. But no sightings of Adam anywhere or inklings as to his whereabouts, at least not that I know of. The only clue I have heard is that when Sauli posted his pink onesie birthday pic on Instagram on the 28th, someone on twitter noted that it was 6:00am Stockholm time when Adam “liked” it. So maybe not in Stockholm anymore?? For whatever that’s worth… LOL

    Help! Not to get political or anything, but I just saw the list of countries and in addition to Israel, Jerusalem is listed. Jerusalem isn’t a country!!!!! It is a city in Israel and shouldn’t be listed separately. How do I get them to take it off the list? Confused

    ETA. I just tweeted the one who made the list. But this is very upsetting to me. It makes it look political. Like someone considers Jerusalem not to be a part of Israel. Big Frown

    rs – Of course this is JMHO, but I don’t think that person included Jerusalem separately to make a political statement. Honestly, I bet they just don’t know their geography. Americans can be incredibly bad at geography, especially when it involves anything outside of the US.

    Avicii must have been in pain for a while and ignoring it, in the case of the gall bladder. Guys are like that, especially young guys. He needs to rest and repair. I read somewhere that he had given up alcohol – every venue he performed at laid out a full bar and he got into a very bad habit. Congrats to him for addressing that.

    If he keeps up this pace it’ll do him in. He’s so young and he’s going to look 50 in no time.

    Just watch, he’ll get airplay in the states. An out gay crooner. While our guy’s genius CD collects dust in the archives of PD’s.

    On another note I finally got my RS in the snail mail.

    Adam’s picture popped out at me. My magazine could barely lay flat, what with that picture bulging. ( Smutty me ).

    It is a good issue. Loved the Kiss article. The Neon Trees guy coming out?? Seriously. After seeing him ,live, not ten feet from me, really? Was he ever “in”??? Just like Adam, no doubts.

    I’ll never forget Adam peering at him from the side stage, with his brow furrowed, studying him, who knows what was on his mind.

    ” Somebody, please get this 98 pound guy a dozen cheeseburgers and make him eat them.”

    ” He’s over-time. He’s in my time.” ” I just slayed it with fucking QUAH-WEEN, and here I am in a field with some up and commer stealing my stage time. ”

    ” But. Dammit. His white hair does rawk. Add peroxide to my shopping list.”

    I had a problem with Tyler from Neon Trees and his quotes about being an out pop star. Like many of you did too.

    In the very same issue as a featured article about Adam and Queen. In the very same publication in which Adam “came out.” Again, was he ever “in??”

    This guy just doesn’t seem as stable as Adam, he seems more fragile emotionally. More angry and hurt.

    Just too much hypocrisy.

    Re Aviici’s ruptured appendix and gall bladder surgery, man, he could have literally died. He’s going to need time to recover.
    Hope he takes care of himself, lots of people have careers riding on him. That’s a lot of pressure for a young guy.

    mils I saw Sam on SNL last night. Nice voice but no stage presence whatsoever. I had seen him before. He reminds me of Chris Mann from the Voice. Great tone but unless he is more pop won’t go anywhere. Does remind me a little of Boy George. And the hair…yuk.

    Speaking about hair, maybe this will make some guys decide to change the do. Wink Sam Smith had it too.

    Avicii always looked like he wasn’t happy…like someone with a constant, nagging pain. Glad he got it taken care of. Absolutely no alcohol for him now. Sometimes I wonder if these things are genetic…fragile organs.

    You’ve just secured my release from my padded room here at Happy Dale Sanitarium! The head nurse is coming back in a couple of minutes to take off the strait-jacket.

    Do you have any idea how difficult it is to type wearing a strait-jacket?!

    But I’m bound and determined to do so. Razz

    I don’t know why this particular moment of Adam saying “I’ve always wanted to live in a house like this. That’s partially why I’m on American Idol” has stayed with me all this time … but it did. Of course I didn’t remember those exact words but I knew it was something like that.

    So glad that you found the video nkd.

    I’m looking forward to the day when Adam realizes yet another dream come true and gets the big house that he’s always wanted.

    I plan on being a frequent house guest.

    You never know, Ron. A friend of mine once sent Claudette Colbert a fan letter. He struck a responsive cord in her which led to a meeting and, eventually, they ended up spending a week’s holiday together in the Bahamas every summer. By that time Claudette had semi-retired from the screen.

    Adam isn’t likely to retire anytime soon but, should such a terrible thing happen, I recommend you have a fan letter ready… Grin

    I have spent this morning online checking out July events for NYC. The museums have some interesting exhibits but a couple will be effectively closed. Boo!

    Biggest shock: the price of theatre tickets has gone through the roof since I stopped travelling there on business 5 years ago. Middling tickets for Macbeth, Waiting for Godot and Cabaret are upwards of $300. Kicking myself for missing Alan Cumming in Cabaret the first time around.

    So much speculation about what happens to his character, why he’s “leaving.”

    Is he going to be a rock star?

    Is he going on a reality show? LOL Elliot goes on Idol.

    Is he recruited by Heart?

    Ok nkd. Here is a challenge for you. Can you find the little vids of AI season 8 contestants when they went into the private booth while staying in the mansion and “shared” with folks? I loved the one where Adam told the story about the broken bidet in his and Kris’s shared bathroom. It was adorable and made both he and Kris seem like wonderful guys. I would love to watch it again.

    I have such mixed feelings about Glee this week. Am dying to see it but very very sad that our time with Adam on Glee is over for now. TG for the wonderful person who puts Adam-only parts together for us. I must have watched those hundreds of times already.

    As someone posted on twitter today: “My Mom likes Adam Lambert way too much for a Mom” or something to that effect. Laugh I can relate!!!

    He looks so gorgeous in the little snippets and I love the song for him. I hope the song means that he is getting his big break and needs to leave town. Nothing stopping him from coming back next season!
