Hi glamberthaf!! Haven’t seen you around much.
Try Oriental Trading Company. They are loaded with trinkets and party stuff. Great customer service too. You can browse the whole catalog online, and search for the items too.
Good Luck.
I wonder if he’s going to model for the Lifeball????
He would sooooo fit into the OTT style shown in that ad posted by nkd.
Hi ulti!
This performance will always be a stand out for me because there isn’t a second, a moment, that he isn’t totally immersed in it. He’s feeling all of it down to his core, if I can put it that way, and it’s a wonderful thing to see.
And hear! I’m not forgetting the vocal!
THAT note during the sing-back with the audience?
No one … NO ONE … recording albums today can do that.
mils, supposedly he’s in Vienna to do interviews/promo for Life Ball. Hopefully they will show up soon and we’ll know for sure.
I could see him agreeing to do this just for the chance to dress up. A costume ball in Vienna, it’s like mid-year Halloween!
If we ever see that ROL tunic again, I hope it’s on Adele.
thanks mils I’ll try that site
That BTIKM/Chokehold vid by mia177mia, turquoisewaters, is just extraordinary. Any sentient being looking at that performance must be blown over by that voice and that presence. No one like him.
I don’t mean to be cruel but I think it might be a little snug on her.
That thing and the leather poncho are only two mistakes that Adam made among 100 other best-dressed list ensembles that he’s worn. IMHO.
Think that Daria Batina pic will show up on Idol, jlurksacto? Ryan’d probably love it.
I don’t think the tunic was a mistake. I think it was perfect for the ROL performance.
Far be it from me to tell you that you are wrong but you are wrong.
He looked like a playing card. The Jack of Spades maybe except there were hieroglyphics on it.
Adam liked it. You liked it.
Looks like I’m in the minority.
You win.
I’m on Team Tunic – loved that performance so much!
TexasWannaHoldEm!!
It’s so good to see you again!
But … under such adverse conditions.
Team Tunic, eh?
Crossing you off my Christmas list.
Seriously, it’s very nice to see you again and I hope all is well with you and your family.
“He looked like a playing card.” Oh, Ron – I can’t stop laughing.
Well, according to the boy, he wasn’t nuts about the performance either – so that puts us in good company – lol.
The sound was off in the beginning – or something like that. I would have preferred a sexy, riotous performance (with leather and stuff) – but that performance was “artsy” – not sexy.
Liked Pitbull’s, though – “Don’t Stop the Party” – that was a great way to sign off.
Hi Ron! It’s always great to “see” you – you honestly make me lol on a daily basis
Ron, I usually am wrong these days!
Still love the tunic for that song though.
I like the tunic too, can’t see anyone else wearing in, but on Adam it looked great, and came across well in the photos.
And I’m sure I’m in the minority here…but I liked the Hammer/harem pants!
Didn’t like the leather poncho though, sure thats one we can all agree was not his best look
What the ROL robe also reminded me of was a “sandwich board” – could see that strolling down the streets of my hometown NY – advertising some obscure cult.
I’m sorry, folks – I laugh every time I look at it – especially with those yard-long foot thingees he’s got on.
Different opinions – love them.
I always assumed you were a person of good taste, HK fan!!
1:45am!
I need my beauty sleep.
I mean I REALLY need beauty sleep!
I’ve never had it, though.
After a nights sleep, I’ve never once gotten out of bed in the morning and looked in the mirror and thought that I looked beautiful.
Maybe tomorrow. There’s always a first time.
Good night.
I am sitting here much too long this morning when I should be doing the million things I have to do to get ready for Passover that starts this evening, but I wanted to thank you for posting that AOBTD vid from Hammersmith. I was on my feet hanging over the first row balcony laughing, singing, hysterical after he had ripped his pants on the song before and just kept on going like the trouper he is. One of the highlights of the show that was filled with too many highlights to count.
So thanks for the memories and now…..to work. Back in a few days. And Happy Passover to all who celebrate the Festival of Freedom.
I’m on Team Playing Card but there is something so endearing about that particular costume choice that I am glad he wore it. There’s a Canadian comedian who does a routine about 4-years-olds putting on their favourite pieces of clothing, whatever the colour or size (as in they’ve grown out of it) and walking out the door in the happy conviction that they look GREAT!!!!! At bottom there’s an assumption of acceptance and a sweet innocent faith in the good will of mankind. That is how I feel about Adam when I see pics from the DIVAS performance.
tchrsd bought some for the Hammersmith concerts. I have emailed her and will get back to you.
I liked the tunic too. Fun, modern, a bit WTF. I’m surprised you didn’t buy one yet, Ron, because you are just about the only person I can think of that could rock that look.
Did I mention that AXN channel is using WWFM on one of its adverts for its new programmes, including The Voice…have heard it twice in the last 30mins…. Thats at least the 3rd Adam song they’ve used, and I still hear sure fire winners on an advert.
Happy Passover, rs. I remember the Hammersmith pants incident very well. Another moment when Adam trusted to the universe that we would laugh with him not at him. Think I might have being doing both.
I can so see you in that tunic, Ron. You actually WOULD rock it. Halloween, though.
Forgot to say: I agree about Adam’s opening moves 100%. Silhouetting him for a few seconds before he sings the first line of IIHY would be excellent stagecraft, Ron. Good idea.
Love your post, TLKC – that is just so right about that outfit and Adam.
I’m like rs. A gazillion things to do today to prepare for Passover, but I find myself here for a minute. Or two. LOL.
I’m not on team Harem pants. Or team poncho. Or bolo tie for that matter.
But, I am on team tunic. When he first popped on my screen in that tunic, my initial reaction was all ” WTF?” and then I was laughing out loud and just so amused at our boy’s choices. I mean really, he went from long overcoat and Let’s Dance, to that divine gray spiked suit, to an aviator jumpsuit to the tunic.
But, after a couple
hundredviews of the Ray of Light performance, I just love it. IMHO it was perfect for the song. Very futuristic and loaded with hidden meanings on the universe. It wasn’t body flattering, but it wasn’t supposed to be. Maybe a play on androgeny? However, the boots didn’t do anything for the tunic. Whether they were embellished by Sauli or not.And his voice was out of this world. Best performance of the whole show.
I’m bringing this to this page because I thought it was fantastic. Thanks Calgary
Here’s a happy new tidbit!

BTIKM/Chokehold by mia177mia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTDd5dPYJRQ
I brought this here for “convenience.” Yes. “Convenience.” It’s simply incredible. A keeper. Oh my, to have seen this live…
Thanks turquoise
.
LOOOL pervberts RT @lovesummer22: Sauli: He said it was big but then he just whipped it out & damn!!!! http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k502/illuxxia/skgifs2/rm-6.gif …
ultimat, that cooking show was a gem, wasn’t it?
Gotta say, I’m liking Sauli more and more, as an individual, not just as the cute boy who makes Adam so happy.
repeat
Yes – that BTIKM/Chokehold is magnificent. Sent it out to the crew.
I didn’t like the tunic …. it looked like something from Alice in Wonderland.
Great analogy, zzatrms – this outfit has inspired some great comments.
<TLKC Love your post about 4yr old clothing choices. Wish I could of read it before my granddaughter’s visit. Her parents allowed her to pack and I am sure she bought all her favorite things, paint splattered sweater etc. Some of her outfits I just couldn’t take her out in and didn’t hold back my reaction. I can not get her sad look out of my mind when I did that . I don’t know when I have become so uptight I brought up her Father(Artist Aquarius)just the opposite.

Same here luval!
I can see a post from jlurksacto at 12:11, and asif at 12:15 on my phone but not on my laptop. The last few posts from luval do not show on the phone.
eta I am logged in on both.
I see differences in posts between my PC (Comcast cable) and my laptop (wifi). Laptop lags.
The site hosting upgrade did take place today. It’s possible that people are seeing two different copies of the site on different servers at my hosting company right now. Will investigate further this evening.
This may be somewhat like when the site changed to a new hosting server, for a brief period of time there may be some folks stranded on the old site until their internet provider updates DNS. You can also try the following commands on Windows 7 PCs:
1) Click the start button and navigate to the command prompt (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt)
2) Make sure that you right click on the command prompt application and choose “Run as Administrator”
3) Type in the command “ipconfig /flushdns” and hit enter
I have changed the site byline (the line of text just below adamlambertlive in the upper left corner) to read “an unofficial Adam Lambert fan site”. If you see this (with the new removed), you are looking at the current version of the site on the new upgraded server. If you still see the “new” included in that line of text, you are looking at the old site on the previous server. Of course in that case you won’t see this comment either. Everything should get back to normal within a day or two with all of us on the new server.
PC is on the updated site, phone is on the old site and there are comments there that are not posted here(pc). Just weird!
Thanks for all you do eywflyer!
It’s nice to know that the update has taken place.
nkd, ok sounds like what I thought. Those comments on the old site (the one that still has “new” in the site byline) are being made by folks whose internet access path (PC, phone or whatever) is still pointing to the copy of the site on the previous server. I have sent an email to tech support at my hosting provider but I don’t think there is anything they can do about it. This is just the nature of DNS propagation – it takes time. Anyone seeing the old site on a PC can try the dnsflush commands I posted above. If you know of folks stuck on the old site email them with the info in my past couple of posts.
This is why I held off from doing the server upgrade until after the busy touring period. There are always some issues to deal with.
