Looks like Sauli is coming home to LA but Adam is heading for London–True???
I agree with rs and riskylady. The idea that any fan is taking credit for the improvement of Adam’s concerts is ridiculous.
The Adommy kisses in GNT were hot, entertaining and deliberately political so they worked for me on every level
but Adam isn’t the kind of artist to repeat himself and we wouldn’t have him any other way. WAG Fever is a laugh-and-a-half and pretty much in line with what Gaga and other artists are doing, except it’s same-sex. It’s still a political statement but more funny than in-your-face. Maybe that’s was what Adam was aiming for.

Sauli mentioned in an interview that he was disappointed that you cannot fly directly from Helsinki to LA and mentioned London and New York as possible connecting cities, so we will have to see whether this is an enroute thing or something related to Shoshanna’s hint that something big is in the works. (Queenbert, O you great gods in the sky, please.)
I can see Sauli taking a different flight plan, anyway. Adam is definitely going first class and Sauli’s budget is probably closer to ours. Mine, anyway.
But I like the big London announcement story MUCH better.

And of course all but a few of the North American Trespassing dates were radio concerts with generally shorter setlists. Costa Mesa, Fantasy Springs, Winstar World Casino and Phoenix have been the only stand-alone full length concerts I can think of so far. I’m not sure what kind of setlist we will get for Miami Beach, although it should be close to full-length with Adam headlining. Would definitely expect a full-length concert at Del Mar.

I want to once again thank AL and mlg for their huge contributions to this site during the past year. Since 3/8/2012 (when we posted a recap of the Jezebel Party in Atlanta), we have had 55 live concert threads (including 6 Queen + Adam threads) and 5 concert recaps on our site. During the past five weeks alone we have had 16 live threads. Mlg has provided us with a wonderful poster for every single live concert thread during the Trespassing era. AL has hosted more than half of the live threads during this past year.

I don’t listen to pop radio in my car but I do hear Adam when I’m wondering around stores and most recently (yesterday) at BK while trying out their new turkey burger. BTW, very tasty!
I think a few of Adam’s songs have made it onto the background music lexicon. Not sure what they call it anymore. My guess is that brings in a bit of steady income.
I am so hoping that there is still hope for Queenbert in the US or Canada sometime soon. Loving that so many of us will be in LA but of course I want more. On a completely off topic , but very important moment, I have three, yes three, ladies who I care about with a brand new diagnosis of breast cancer this week. It’s unbelievable. Three. All friends, all young. And young at heart.
I just have one word: Mammogram. It saves lives.

I wouldn’t worry about anything you see on 24/7….the last few weeks it has been taken over by a bunch of very strange ‘fans’ that like nothing better than posting the biggest load of crap they can to get a rise out of regular posters……all of which are gradually not posting anymore. And the admin does nothing about it.

In reading through all the posts about that comment over at 24/7, I have to say that I agree with our peeps more. I do however have a few responses. Of course, Mils has responses!
I never minded Adommy. Even in Amsterdam, which was waaay OTT. I didn’t find it “arousing”, I found it hot and sensual, and all of those moments made a point. For the vast majority of the audience, they only saw it once, and it was fleeting. Us super-fans who watch every show on line, got more than our share of those moments. Some of them weren’t even a kiss, some were a tease. Some were funny.
I loved the dancers on GN. They added so much to the show and were so professional. The mix of male and female was just right to me. The boys were never campy and effite. Quite the opposite.
Yes, Adam had a vision for this tour. Yes, he chose to have his friends dance and do the choreo. Yes, he knew that in Asia and in foreign countries there is a broader acceptance of the show he put on. To me, it was just too much at times. It cheapens the show and his image.
I like the strong rock swagger Adam. The OTT campy stuff may be who he truly is at heart,or represent a side of him, but, I prefer the fierce or ballad side of him more.
He also knows it would never fly in the states. I’m hoping he knows that he needs to tailor it back quite a bit here. Except at the gay pride event(s). The only way to do that is to axe Johnny. IMHO.
We all know that Adm gets minimal to no press coverage for international gigs here. EXCEPT they were filming bits in Japan for Idol’s “Where Are They Now?” segments.
Debbie Downer: I will absolutely cringe and be sick to my stomach if they show moments from the show with Johnny and Adam camping it up. Or Adam with his butt perpendicular to Terrance’s face. My fear is that if they show some of the OTT moments on Idol, that will be like pulling the curtain on his career here. I hope they show him doing a glory note, in his blue suit, or Stay, not Fever. IMHO.
FWIW: I love this show. Helsinki was beyond my expectations. The fans went ape-shit nuts for it. I’m so proud of Adam and the troupe. TJR is a great guitarist and keeps getting better. Ashley is a sexaay dynamo. Brian added so much musically, and Rick is a great drummer. The gals seemed to tone it down and not overshadow him as much on WAG. LOL. Maybe they do read blogs from time to time.

mils and all: I may have an embryonic glambert and I want to try and make sure he turns into a real one! So I will take any and all advice.
I went to a new massage therapist (app.28 yrs old) and got talking about music. He said he mostly prefers the old stuff. I asked him if he liked Queen and his response was “I think Freddie Mercury is the greatest vocalist of ALL TIME!”. I asked if he’d heard of our boy and got the usual “yeah, wasn’t he on American Idol?” Yes, I replied, but last summer he fronted for Queen at 6 concerts in Europe, one a quarter of a million in Kiev, and three in London. “Really!” he said. And we carried on. So, I’m thinking maybe we’ll talk more about music next time and then maybe the third time I should gift him with a AL/Queen cd. Whaddya think? And what CD?
Calgary…yes yes yes to the Queen cd …the 2nd time. IMO don’t wait until the 3rd. I think Trespassing although maybe FYE if you can find the UK cover.

We’ve all seen it … Hammersmith, second performance of “Another One Bites The Dust” … but he hasn’t.
It is still one my favorite Adam performances and I think it always will be.
