Adam is continuing his “We Are Glamily” mini-tour of Asia as March begins. This tour will proceed to Russia and Eastern Europe later this month, wrapping up in Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Above we see Adam in one of the iconic poses of the tour thus far, at the third Tokyo show on February 21 (photo by @letmelive81). We will see what the rest of the tour holds in store for us this month, and perhaps we will start to get some idea as to Adam’s plans for the upcoming spring and summer as well. Enjoy the chat!

    Wait…so the two prices of ticket are $21 and $139…? Huh? For $139 do you get to sit on the stage?
    That is a HUGE price spread between the two choices!

    Concert with Fair admission, all ages:
    Dinner Package: $139.00 (floor seating, Fair admission, parking, dinner) Dinner menu

    Floor reserved seats (no dinner package) and Terrace: $73.00
    Terrace seats are at a four-person table, where you can order food and drink from wait staff.
    Second and fourth level: $48.00
    General admission (unreserved seats on the third and fifth levels): $21.00

    Sounds a lot like our Des Moines show last year. We had VIP ticket that included drink tickets, meals, private rest rooms and the ability to get close to the stage and I mean really close. Well worth the money. As to complaints about P2 I really am not into that as I don’t like it when Adam gets flack from other folks who aren’t fans. His success goes beyond his single as his album is selling well, over 750,000 about two weeks ago. Some think he’ll sell platinum. There is music for all taste. I read one comment how Idol choose that year for total musicality not spot perfect vocals. I think thats a fair assessment. Smile

    jojosie you are always so nice! I think the difference here is we are on an Adam forum making comments not going to a P2 forum bashing him to his fans. I think it is ok for us to voice our opinions here.
    I personally think he is only seeing success from that one annoying song, And it was obviously autotuned to the max. and the album is getting bought because of it. Everyone and their brother have used it for promos. Anyone could have sung it and it would have went 4 times platinum. It is the song not the “singer’.
    I don’t think what he does can in any way be called singing and the faces he makes—yuck.
    But I am not a fan of any of the WGWG.

    Hi JoJosie…I don’t think people here are complaining about P2. I will say it…I don’t like him or his music. But some people do. I don’t think any P2 fans are lurking on this blog ready to slam us if we do

    I have to say in my opinion, I feel sad that it’s not fair that Adam can’t get radio play, any recognition from the public, etc etc, yet P2 was in the right place at the right time. Good for him. But I still don’t like his voice or music. Oh well!! To each his own.

    I downloaded my pre-order David Bowie album a couple of hours ago. Listened to about 2 minutes of every song. In case any of you buy it or listen to it my favorite was “How Does the Grass Grow”. Classic Bowie sound IMO. Also liked “You Feel So Lonely You Could Die”.

    Nothing on youtube yet (except an awful fake one) or I’d bring it over and get your opinion.

    I’m in and the Duke too. But gotta work tomorrow (difficult to do tickets on the job!!)-hope the Duke can get tickets on ticketmaster. Am going for the Dinner pkg, I think, although the Terrace and 2nd level don’t seem too bad either.

    I really want to go but, I have Wimbledon tickets for 6/29. My tennis partner is from London and she won the tickets (as in won the chance to buy them) in the lottery. Of course it is the same week!

    I am really hoping there will be other concerts like this!

    Who else is gonna join us? Y’all just KNOW you wanna be in beautiful San Diego in early July, right? That area of northern San Diego county is very nice. It’s gonna be beautiful weather, ocean breezes, gorgeous beaches, lovely scenery, and… Adam.
    What more do you need? Big Smile

    I do wish we had gotten a more notice on the pre-sale tickets. Given that they go on sale tomorrow, that doesn’t exactly give us an opportunity to get our act together before buying reserved seats. I can’t purchase tickets tomorrow morning right when the pre-sale starts anyway because of work commitments. And I’m not even sure whether I should try for pre-sale tickets or wait for regular tickets to go on sale on Saturday. What have we decided about how good pre-sale tickets usually are vs. what’s released for general sales? By Saturday, we also might have a better sense of our headcount of ALLers, too.

    What to do, what to do…

    Am in the same boat with all who can’t buy tickets tomorrow due to work commitments. What to do? But it always works out somehow. So we’ll see. Not even sure if I can go yet. Wish there was something on the east coast. (not the Miami gig).

    Loved the Neil web thingy. So dorkalicious. And, may I please mention his man-scaped eyebrows? His bendy thumb? His pinkish lips? His ginger beard? Brothers indeed. His quirky humor? ( Very nice to see such evidence, after witnessing a distinctly different side of Neil in Rockford, just saying ).

    Jojosie, I just love your ability to see the positive of things.

    Cream? Yes please. With sugar and sprinkles. But no chaps. Too….ummm…not gonna go there. Wouldn’t be good for him, PR wise…But, for sure he has seen this video. So many elements of Adam’s shows can be seen in that video. I think more than in anything else other than MJ’s Smooth Operator.

    No San Diego for me. California is the end of the world. I’ve been three times on the west coast (San Francisco, San Diego, and Vancouver) and it is nice but very foreign.

    Hoping that many peeps join up there, as we did on the East Coast last year!

    jlurks, you’ll have to let us know it all works out tomorrow. I remember how it worked during Glmanation. We bought our VIP upgrades and then bought tickets either from the venue, Ticketmaster or Ticket Bastards.

    Those VIP’s should sell out in a minute or less. I’ll keep my whatsis crossed for anybody trying.

    AAAHHH. Such sweet memories of the anticipation of a M&G and a show.

    Hope you all get the best packages for the show too. It was so worth it in Des Moines. Better food, better potties, and up close to the eye beams and freckles and tats.

    I came across my Des Moines ticket today when I was straightening my desk…sigh. Still think it wasn’t do-able for a lot of family reasons, but how I would love to have gone…forgot how pricey that ticket was. Drat.

    I have been trying to think of a way for us to deduct Adam expenses on our taxes…

    I checked flights and San Diego might be doable. I know Krad is hoping for Quebec but from the Midwest it cost more than twice as much as the fare to California and is only half the distance. I’ve had two M&Gs and it’s so nervewracking over there I don’t think I’d even try for a VIP. Won’t geta ticket till I’m sure I’m going as I’m sure there will be plenty for sale and resale.

    Dang, looks like I let my membership at ALFC lapse – I don’t have an account there anymore and need to renew.

    Is anyone here trying for a VIP/M&G tomorrow morning? I can’t, due to a work conflict at that exact time. Anyone know how much they are? I’m tempted to ask one of you to try to buy an extra one for me when you’re trying for your own…

    firstimerob – from what I understand, the “PACMAN” code is for the general pre-sale through the SD Fair site, not for the ALFC pre-sale. If you’re a member of ALFC, there may not be a code.

    Would love to know the price, out of curiosity, want to compare his going rate to others’.
    Weren’t the first ones only about $50, or am I fantasizing? My M&G in Paris was $175, I think, for about 30 seconds and no photo. I still mourn the lost photo with my son.

    I just got a notice from the fan club about VIP upgrades for Adam’s performance at the San Diego Fair on July 2nd. I have to be in New York for a wedding on July 6th, so I might just come early and go to Cali first.
    I will need help getting tickets, etc, though. Don’t want a M&G, just a seat as close as possible. YAY! I just posted this and haven’t even read back on the thread. I am sure that lots of us will be there
    ETA. Read through the posts now. YAY cwm and the others who are going, and will I finally meet jlurks? I can’t but tickets through ticketmaster from here. The dinner or tables for 4 sound nice, or whatever gets us closest.

    Looks like my 19-year-old daughter will be coming with me, so you’ll all get to meet her. She’s great (although she couldn’t promise not to roll her eyes at me once in a while HAH).

    Due to a work conflict, I won’t be able to try to purchase tickets or M&G passes until 11:00am tomorrow.

    Yeah, I can’t get on to ticketmaster from here, so I am like cwm. cher usually gets me my tickets but she is working early this week and I don’t want to bother her. If there is someone who can try to get me a M&G or dinner near the stage (just add me to cwm’s table!) that would be fabulous. These are the times that I feel very far away.

    And so it begins. Adam’s summer festival tour. LOL. I am NOT renewing the fan club membership. Got a notice a couple of weeks ago to renew and ditched it. I will use StubHub when the time comes. Don’t need an M&G. I will be going to be with you guys and to see Adam at his best: ON STAGE.

    I can’t decide so early, especially if Adam comes east, I want to have some flexibility of choice. If most of you are going I probably will, though.
