Adam is continuing his “We Are Glamily” mini-tour of Asia as March begins. This tour will proceed to Russia and Eastern Europe later this month, wrapping up in Helsinki, Finland on March 22. Above we see Adam in one of the iconic poses of the tour thus far, at the third Tokyo show on February 21 (photo by @letmelive81). We will see what the rest of the tour holds in store for us this month, and perhaps we will start to get some idea as to Adam’s plans for the upcoming spring and summer as well. Enjoy the chat!

    My memory of it was that he had two simultaneous girlfriends and they lived together; his manner was quite feminine by standards of the day and I remember whisperings of bisexuality but not gay. I loved his attitude a lot more than most of his music, but he was always his own person and yes, maintained a low profile off stage. Agree that he lived his life with a wink and a smile – witness the little video before the Cream performance part and the interviewer asking his girlfriends if they were both dating him and their funny reply. I wonder if Adam has ever talked about Prince?

    AQD called Adam’s suit “Glambert Blue.” In one of the vids above, Prince had on an outfit about the same color.

    Did you guys see that Phillip Phillips is going to be at Rock in Rio? I just don’t get the appeal of a guy with little to no personality and a mediocre voice. They had really been trying to get Adam there and he was first in most polls. Actually, Queen + Adam lead the poll for 2014 Rock in Rio. They have 1443100 votes to the next band, Porta that has 737630 and third is Tokio Hotel with 595050. Think I might save up for that one!

    Other than that it looks like a really great concert.

    He has. I can’t put my finger on it however. He attended Prince’s concert in LA a while back with his mom and Sauli. He mentioned loving his B Sides album. He likes the funk influences.

    Omg…this talk about Prince last night. I saw him in Syracuse in the 80’s and he was a bad boy. Besides the butt-less pants at the end of one of his songs, all of a sudden there was this stream of white-ish liquid squirting out of the end of his guitar. The audience was howling with laughter. My friends and I were laughing with embarrassment.

    There was no Internet or YouTube then and Syracuse couldn’t have been the only city he did this in. Maybe there’s a video of some sort out there.

    I’m so thrilled y’all love Cream. I actually accessed this site from my iPhone (worked!) to jump up-and-down in a Abdul pool after Kradamour’s post. Sorry about the accessability issue with the video I posted, luval. Online blocking at the border must be a two-way street. Who knew?

    Couple of note: Glambotgram, the video is too soft and slow for me as well. Get your hands on a regular audio version and crank it up. That’s how I imagine Adam doing it. This is a great guitar piece as well. Tommy start practising.

    Chaps would be perfect, nkd! I would prefer black leather to the ones Prince is wearing but the pants will not be the main attraction anyway, LOL.

    FYI, in the 1986 Stratford, Ontario production of Cabaret, Brent Carver (my other passion) wore assless chaps as the MC. Not a PG performance and no one was upset. I would seriously recommend this updated wardrobe plan to the costume designer for Adam’s upcoming Wink production, which we will fund on Kickstarter. Carver also wore them for a production of Tartuffe. Maybe he owns them….maybe we can ask him to lend them…

    TLKC, I never imagined Adam in the lace like Prince was wearing, but I couldn’t find the other assless ones! Leather would def be more Adam’s style, but we are delusional if we think Adam would ever wear these on stage! But I’m willing to continue with my delusions for a while!! Laugh

    I know nkd. Think most of us are in the leather camp.

    It’s sad that, even today, Adam can’t go as far as Prince and Bowie could many years ago. It may speak more to the mainstreaming of the culture than to Adam’s sexuality. There used to be so much money in music, even for niche performers. The eccentric and the edge was celebrated. It may not have made people filthy rich but it kept them sufficiently flush to keep doing what they wanted. Now there’s so little money to be made that everyone plays and promotes to the centre. Edgy is an act, not the real thing. The real thing scares people.

    Re: P2 at festival at Rio, I can only congratulate him on having unbelievable management team that got him great songs and is giving his song great exposure. Boot Idol song, anyone?

    Yes, I’m jealous Adam fan, who can’t stand mediocre singer who happened to ride on coattail of Mumford&Sons and similar popular groups. He is murdering every song he sings, even his own Home (German showcase)
    I guess I’m in the minority that loves good voices.

    Your not in the minority, that is why we all love Adam, well the main reason. I can not stand listening to PP, the one reason I dont like Beibs, and Swifty, to name a few. There are singers that dont sing to well, but not as that awful stuff PP puts out. Adam makes me want to listen to music again!

    Love, love, love the choir version of Trespassing. Hope Adam sees and re-tweets it. Not surprised it’s a boy choir – that’s a guy’s song if I ever heard one. Very in your face. I can see a teacher using it to get boys to sing and dance.

    The Trespassing show choir performance is great, but y’all should really watch the longer performance that AL posted. There are girls in the choir, just not in Trespassing.

    Oksana, missChaos I happened to catch a PBS fundraiser show Sunday night that was all 1966-1969 Ed Sullivan episodes with the top singing groups. What was most noticeable? They ALL had great singing voices. Even the chorus singers. Sad how times have changed.

    Just now, I thought I heard tapping at my front door but it was so faint that it didn’t really register. But when I thought I heard the same sound again, I got up to investigate.

    I looked through the peep-hole but didn’t see anyone there. I turned to walk away but there was that tapping sound again! This time I opened the door and guess who was there?

    The poor thing. He looked like he’d been through a war! You guys really wore him out! His forehead was bandaged and he was wheezing!

    He still has a couple of more deliveries to make but he wanted to return the original DVD to me. Awwww! What a thoughtful and dedicated little trouper!

    TLKC – left post on wrong thread or something. In Erie my sister and I were in middle of orchestra on right-hand side – think we are out of range of the camera. One thing regret – apparently he came out afterwards from what I’ve read and talked with fans – another missed opportunity – damn.

    PP’s label’s attempt to market him as an “int’l artist” is just plain laughable IMHO. That German video now has 152 views, his acoustic Home has two (2) views, another song has 0 views and another one 110. There were some ebullient French reviews (a couple) while he was in France that were just laughable, especially talking about his “guitar” skills (LOL, he’s a strummer, not a PLAYER like Casey James). And now Rock in Rio LOLOLOL. I don’t think the Brazilians will fall for this live, he is an embarrassment to Idol to me. I do believe he’s the worst of the WGWGs.
    I think he did a performance in London, but didn’t really make any waves. Do they seriously think that because the SONG did well that he as a singer can rise above it????
    The Lambada was a huge worldwide hit too, as was Gangham Style (Psy’s latest efforts haven’t been so loved).
    Oh well………….

    ulti…The electrode thing was something that mils noticed on Adam’s tummy when his shirt went up. I saw it too. It looked like a wire of some sort. If I can remember which show it was I’ll bring it over.

    ulti mils theory was that the electrode was keeping our friend from making an appearance. The reason I said I was starting to believe it was if you enlarge that picture it looks like the outline of a wire where our friend should be. Frown

    I have to disagree with P2 being the worst winner. Lee DeWyze is definiely the worst but P2 is in the running. NVM. He has a multi-platinum hit on his hands and his management has to milk it for as long as they can. I doubt he will be going as strong as Adam 4 years on. Don’t worry be happy.

    That Chinese profile on Adam is really good. I love the part where the LVMH guy says they check their markets carefully and Adam trends with a young, hip audience in Asia.
