Oooh. Did y’all see Eywflyer and MJ duking it out on twitter? She’s really mean. Doesn’t give a fig about Adam. Says he doesn’t give her the most hits and she’ll be cutting down his posts. Didn’t she say that before yet continues to post every little thing about him? And anyone who doesn’t like what she said can run back to the hive! Talk about hating Adam fans! Wow!

Well, I’m in ATL airport now waiting for next flight. Yea – I had some things to say to MJ and she certainly showed her true colors regarding Adam and his fans. I’m done with that site – will look elsewhere for Adam news. Sick and tired of her sneering bullying behavior and her enabling bullying of others via her rules. Not just Adam either – other idols get clobbered too. So much negativity there – why?

MJs hating Adam fans is nothing new to me. I saw her tweet to one of the Worsters about 3 yrs ago, called her on it and got reprimended.
I just don’t like her hypocrisy, she needs clicks on her site, so she posts Adams threads. After she gets 300 responses, of which on average 100 are created by trolls she starts her lament, closes the thread and deletes posts.
But clicks are already accounted for, right?
They do post on some threads though. Every so often. We need someone on twitter that a lot of people follow.
Must be verrrry few and far between. I haven’t seen them in ages.
omg, I’m gutted…..I was so looking forward to this, as much to meeting everyone at dinner on friday as the show. And so sorry for everyone thats brought flight tickets etc, at least for me its only the concert tickets which will hopefully get refunded.
Maybe Queen and Adam are trying to find another venue for around the same time as we speak…..

Boy, I’m totally upset right now about Sonisphere being cancelled. I had so looked forward to seeing Queen and Adam together at this festival. As Ron said, TLKC and I have already purchased airline tickets. We did get cancellation insurance fortunately, but we have booked and paid for 6 days of accommodation in London, too, just this past week and I’m not sure how refundable that is. I’m also bummed about just not getting overseas this year. I was looking forward to that…going on a trip, meeting up with everyone else, too (cwm, Riskylady, Cher, little dutchess and The Duke…I think they were all planning on going). I don’t know…I told TLKC not to cancel our flights yet. I may still go. Who knows, maybe Queen will have their own concert at Knebworth, just for Queen and Adam fans. Now that would be just plain epic.
Feel so badly for Adam right now, too. This was going to be a huge deal for him to showcase his talent to the uniniated.

Have to defend my bb y’know. She’s allowing some people their say about Adam being blamed for the cancellations. Calmed down quite a bit. Had to put my 2 cents in about Moscow selling well, their tickets are cash only for now and their VIP seats are U$1,000!!!

Can.Not.Believe.!!! Just called The Duke who’s at a hockey game. He says it’s the last thing he would have expected.
I am traveling on frequent flyer tickets so to put the miles back I’m probably out $200 and the Sonisphere tickets should be refunded and ,if not, can get credit card to withold payment. But like Cher I might still go as I was planning to go on a cruise around British Isles afterward and would still like to . Of course, I now have way too many days in London before the cruise (as I’ve been there more than once) and a few after to justify paying those outrageous hotel prices with no concert. Don’t yet know what I’ll do but not canceling yet. Was so looking forward to getting together with those of you going and others. What a bummer!

But you might be right that there comes a point when I wonder if I am not just enabling the unequal treatment by giving the site hits. It would be great to still hook up with you all there, maybe even share accommodations if we change our itinerary around. I’m thinking I’ll still go, but I don’t know about TLKC, so I could have a hotel room to share for a several days in London.
A friend who has had experience in getting refunds from cancelled SciFi conventions, says that in case Sonisphere is in financial woes and can’t reimburse us, we need to do screen captures of all web announcements of the cancellation, the entire web window, and provide this as proof to our Visa companies of “services not rendered”. Keep all emails, everything and anything to provide proof of the cancellation and their inability to reimburse.

I am hopeful that Queen will recognize the opportunity to have something in London close to the Sonisphere date so folks can attend. I pray they keep the Moscow date and even better add new dates for us in Canada/US. Kradamour – time for some strong visioning.
I had stopped going to MJs a long time ago for many reasons. Her sight had become so commercial and so clearly there for mainly entrepreneurial greediness that it wasn’t worth feeding the frenzy. I always got the feeling of snark from that sight. WHO NEEDS IT????? WE CERTAINLY DON’t!!!!!!

Hmmm, so MJ doesn’t care about Adam because she doesn’t “know” him? But someone on Twitter said she had multiple M&G’s with him….And she throws the Durbin thing in? I think a number of Durbin fans have bullied Adam fans too, especially on YouTube, and messed around on Adam threads sometimes. Also, in comment sections of blog articles. Whatever. Eywflyer, thank you so much for this site! And for standing up to her.
About the Queen thing, I want to wait and see. Brian and Roger are millionaires, and sweet guys to boot. I have hope that they and Adam might come up with something. They must have connections we can only dream of. Cher, don’t worry about the Stevenage hotel, we’ll figure something out even if there is no concert. I hope somehow all of us will manage to survive this setback, and someone mentioned a Glambert convention if all else fails.
Hate to be a downer, but I don’t have a lot of hope for a US concert, because they just announced the concert dates for the Queen Extravaganza in Canada and the US. BUT, doesn’t mean it can’t happen (problem for those of us with airline tickets, though).
I hate to be the only descender here but MJ’s will still be the first visit for me each day. I guess I have a thick skin or have just been around Idol and it’s fan sites for so long that not much bothers me. I don’t post often on an Adam thread as he has lots of others doing that. I am still interested in other Idols and like to see what they are up to. I personally don’t think Adam is the only one that gets negative post or as some say has haters. He’s always been controversial and probably always will be. You need to read some of James threads, Lee’s, Dannys and lots more. I remember back in season 5 sweet little Katherine McPhee was taking hits. Adam is my favorite of course but I don’t feel the need to defend him especially against known antagonist. To me Adam is fun and light and love along with unbelievable talent. I always look for the pony in a room full of shit.

Funny moment with tchrsd in Ste.-Agathe after the concert. She and I were staying at the same hotel. It poured rain as everyone knows. Walked back to the hotel drenched and get inside.

Maybe I’m prejudiced (actually I don’t think so – lol), but I don’t think Queen would want to miss a chance to have Adam sing their songs again. Their evident delight in the EMA performance speaks volumes.

It’s free now, right? riskylady I want to wait and see right now, too. For now, I’m hanging onto my airline ticket. It would kill me, though, if I headed out to England and Queen + Adam decided to head to North America at the same time. But I think you’re right, with the announcement of the Extravaganza, I can’t see their coming this summer.
