Adam is set to take the stage at a familiar venue for his last concert of the year. The Winstar World Casino has Adam getting his fans in the party mood as we say good-bye to 2013 and hello to 2014. And what a party it will be. Many fans are coming from all over the world to celebrate. The show starts at 8 PM CST but the party will continue for years to come!

I just got back (half way) home from Colleyville, TX. to my sis-in-law in OK. Craps … It’s snowing now.
In a couple days I’ll make it back home finally. I’ve been away from
home 2 weeks already. Missing you all.
I had a blast at Winstar. Really really a real blast. Oh Boy! … How I missed depends!
ok so here’s just a small recap of me meeting Tommy Joe if anyone wanted to know how it happened!
Ok story time!!!! SO! We landed at about 8:00, we were a little late leaving Chicago, but that’s ok, we made it to Dallas! It was about an hour drive from Dallas to the hotel. Once we got to the hotel, we checked in, unpacked, and then headed back down to meet up with Brenda Ellis and then headed to the casino. We got in and this place is HUGE! It’s in the middle of BFE Oklahoma and it’s just nowhere near anything! Just huge tho! So we get into the casino and we try to get our tickets from the box office. Well sadly the box office didn’t have our tickets until about 11:30 the day of the concert. So we decided we would walk around and get ourselves familiar with the place. We split up and decided to meet where we came in at about 11:30…yeah that didn’t happen. While Leah Christine Roxberg and I were walking into the hotel lobby, we saw a huge group of Glamberts! We went over and started talking to them and they were telling us how we had JUST MISSED Tommy Joe. I was like literally on the verge of tears! 11 concerts and I kept missing him!!! So we decided we would wait to see if they came back down. So we called Bren and she came to the lobby with us and we sat and waited. Didn’t have to wait long because who comes out of the elevator hallway maybe 10 minutes later TOMMY FUCKING JOE RATLIFF!!! So I jumped up and walked over to wear he was. There were some other Glamberts still sitting in the lobby so he went over to them (because he knows them) and gave them all hugs. And just as I was about to ask Tommy if I could have a hug, he walks up to me and hugs me!!! As he’s hugging me, Leah was telling him how this meant so much to me and how it was my first time meeting him. After hearing this, he steps back, looks at me and says “I know you, I know I’ve met you!” And I tell Tommy, nope pretty sure you haven’t! His response was “I know I’ve met you before!” I told him, “I’m pretty sure I would remember that!” Then we proceed to tell him the concerts we’ve been to, and he was like “Oh yeah I remember seeing you guys in the crowd” And as we are talking, Adam’s manager, Tom, comes up to me, lays his hands on my shoulders and tells Tommy, “Tommy, I think we all need hoodies like these.” Then proceeds to turn me around and show Tommy my hoodie (I was wearing the Tommy NOH8 hoodie that I made a couple months ago) Best thing was Tommy started stroking my back (which happened to mean he was stroking his face on my back lol) Then I asked him for a picture and he was like “Of course!” After I got my pic taken, Leah got an autograph for her nephew and I got an autograph for myself. Then Ashley, Adam’s bassist was down there as well, and I got her autograph and she hugged me as well. So yeah it was pretty amazing to find out that Tommy actually knows/recognizes me from the shows and even Adam’s manager recognizes me! It was a pretty awesome New Year’s for me to say the least!!

For a while I thought nobody cared.
I was sad that I didn’t get to meet any of wonderful ALL’ers at the concert.
I was with the family and relatives who are gun toting, Obama hating and Duck Dynasty type of fans.
So go figure … How awkward it would be to introduce and mesh.
But I got good news.
My daughter who always rolls eyes, makes fun of me, and tells everybody that I’m obsessed with Adam …. thinks that I’m not that bad compared to the other Glamberts she saw and met.
We met a lot of glamberts from many states and
countries. We met 2 girls from Finland and wondered why Finland. I didn’t explain to her about Sauli. … heh …
This is my daughter first time to see Adam.

asif I am so glad to find out who called me.I wish I could have talked to you. (darn cell phone) Wasn’t the concert great. My husband & I are still here in Thackerville along with Riskylady and her hubby. Tonight we saw the band Train at the casino. The were good but nothing like Adam. Tomorrow we leave for home. (California). We drove so it will take us four days. I’m glad you enjoyed the concert! Maybe we will meet some time!

I haven’t watched any videos or read through all the new threads yet. A lot to catch up.
Just my opinion …
I enjoy watching the streams, videos, photos and the comments and bantering during our dinner here at ALL as much as being at the concerts. At times, it’s better here.
People who haven’t been to any of Adam concert Live, … Don’t feel bad.
This is just me. All 3 of Adam Live I’ve been to, I wasn’t there with like minds … Adam’s lovers or glamberts. I didn’t have good seats. All were from far away or tall people blocked my view at GA standing venue.
It was fun at winstar. Everybody was up from their seats standing. I only watched the concert from the jumbotron. Only saw Adam from the waist up most of the time. Didn’t even his stach, the bitch strut … walk .. walk … walk. Only saw great photos from fans posting. I can’t hear him well because of the screams around me. But I’m happy and grateful that I was there to witness “Redhouse”.
But of course, the fun, the spirit, the happiness I had seeing him on the stage is wonderful and I want to cry. I had a blast there.
Now, that … my daughter is warming to Adam, I have a chance to go to Queen+Adam if there is a tour.
This time, I’ll take my daughter and I WILL MEET YOU GUYS. Then my Adam concert experience will be complete.

Mad World. Man. Oh man. This arrangement and tone were so completely different. Faster. Lower register. More….angry. The older versions were more emotional and emo/goth/feely. This was a whole new song. Now, I love it in a whole new way.
Red House is simply stunning. And this was his first time with it.
The man is talent beyond talent.
Oh asif, I’m so glad you were there.
I’m just sorry you don’t have like-minds to see him. Your daughter sounds like a wonderful way to see him and enjoy your time together.
I look forward to meeting you one day. Seeing a show with fan friends is incredible. It really fills me with a special joy.
Trust me, as you know, unless you are smack dab right up in front, you don’t see all of him. I have been very up close at all my shows, but the only one where I could really see all of him was in Des Moines, the stage was very high and we were practically able to reach out and touch it. When he walked the short runway, it was simply divine.
But, other shows, I could only see him from waist up ( dammit ) most times. And the shows go by so fast, you miss most stuff. However, these videos are so wonderful.
And, the energy from an Adam show tends to last a while, doesn’t it?
You saw a truly special show, shared time with your daughter who became a fan, and created memories that will endure.

Aw asif, I was so glad when I heard that you were going to Winstar and then so sorry that you wouldn’t be able to meet other ALLers there. A big part of the experience is sharing it with like minded souls. I loved my Florida Hard Rock and London (twice)trips and the epitome of the group love fest was last summer in San Diego where we all spent a couple of days together. I really really want to meet you, and I know the others here share that feeling, so next time, just bring your daughter. She can hang out with cwm’s daughter who was with us in San Diego, lol.

OMG what a show! Watched it all by Talcvids in the real order, and felt like I was there too
What an orgasmic experience, I am happy for those who were actually there (and not so sorry any more that I was “late” for the party, I had a friend keeping me company over the New Year). The atmosphere/audience seems great, I love to see Adam’s audience on fire. He deserves it! It’s almost a year since I saw Adam live for the last time, having serious withdrawals, but these great quality vids gave almost the same feeling. I used my new great head phones and loved the sound! Adam’s vocals were incredible, band sounded great too (and Ashley is very hot!), and I loved seeing Adam enjoying it all. Love love love strong rocky vibe of this concert! Biloxi was great too, but what an ending of this year 
Have to dl the whole set. I loved all the “oldies” too, Pop that lock, Chokehold, OOL to mention some. Red house was amazing, and Mad world and Lay me down. That was whole lotta perfect…

Thanks for the great recaps everyone. asif. I was really excited to see you were going. I know how you feel about really enjoying the live concert, but missing the ‘glambert’ experience. That is so much a part of Adam’s shows. I went to my first concert with my husband, the second by myself and met many ALL’ers, that was great but I missed the dinner with them all because I had a M&G. My third I was also with family who were amazed at the glamberts around them. LOL
I am glad your daughter is coming around. My daughter likes him also, just not at our level.

The NYE show was so good. Adam and the band blew the Winstar Global Center down. Everybody had a good time … fan or not. Adam mixed all the genre of music to entertain us and showed new fans what he could do.
What a vocalist and a performer!!! DH loved his bluesy “Red House”.
We arrived at Winstar at 5 pm. The casino is huge and has many themes sections … London, Paris, Rome, Vienna and more.
There were a lot of glamberts. My DD was amazed how dedicated and passionate the glamberts were. Then she thinks I’m not bad … heh.
A large group of glamberts were heading to the Mist for the pre-concert party. My DD and I split from our group so we could bert freely.
We checked out the Mist and they were getting ready for the private party for the glambert so we went to Toby Kieth’s.
We had 3 margaritas and talked with more glamberts. Then I tried to call retjenny, but the connection was bad and the background was very noisy. Our server was a cute guy and he liked Adam.
The entire time we were at the casino, my DD and I didn’t play a slot machine or gamble at all.
We were there for Adam and the count down only.
The whole family gang wanted to eat before the concert so we met again and tried to find a place to eat but so many long line. Wanted to eat at the Le Phoenix but it was a long wait.
We ended up at Toby Kieth’s again. More food and margaritas.
When we got out from Toby Kieth, the venue handed out party hats, beads, horns, feather tierras and whatnot.
Our party split again. Only DH, DD and I will attend the concert, the rest will entertain themselves which there are plenty things to do.

I can’t stop watching these videos! I am so grateful to the fans who made these fine recordings for the rest of us to enjoy. How does Adam keep improving on perfection??? Every aspect of this concert was mind boggling. I especially loved Red House and LMD, not to mention Adam’s hilarious “Take my picture” riff. The band also did a fine job, especially Tommy on lead guitar.
Luval, thanks for your link to Jimi Hendrix’s Red House at Woodstock. He was quite a performer himself. I saw Jimi and Janis Joplin live in 1968 at the first concert I ever attended at age 16. It was a stadium concert in Philadelphia with 5 bands. The headliner was Vanilla Fudge, a band no one hears about anymore. I saw Janis again a few months later at a club in Philly. She was an amazing performer too. I don’t know if I realized at the time how lucky I was to see these two legends live. I sure appreciate it now.

The Global Centre can hold about 3,500 people. Later I think during Mad World I had to go to the bathroom .. those Dang margaritas.
The restrooms are in the back-end opposite from the stage. I looked around and there were quite a few seats empty at the back of the venue. I would guess the show had 75-80 % filled.
The front parts of the venue is just a flat floor, no slope for short peeps to see if everyone stands up. The back part has raisers or bleachers.
I got there early and Adam came out at 8:30. Not bad. The wait didn’t seem long because a big group of glamberts were handing out glow sticks, lanyards says I’m a glambert. And we enjoyed talking to people around us.
When the lights went out the screams began.
I was soooo excited I couldn’t contain myself. I was shaking.

mmm222…These guys were just in Syracuse at the end of November! And they sold out one of our theaters that hold 2800 people! My drummer friend said it was one of the best concerts he’s been to in a long time. I guess good bands never retire. That’s all they know how to do.
