After a successful show in Pittsburgh and time spent in New York at Broadway shows and parties, Adam heads to Universal Orlando for a full concert. This concert is the first of three shows (so far) for this summer mini-tour. It will be interesting to see if it will be similar to concerts performed in Asia and Europe. The show is general admission and is expected to start at 8 PM EDT.

Ok so here’s my recap of the weekend. Friday we had all day to ourselves, so what we did was we went to the park to try and find out some information about how everything was going to go down. We had 2 very helpful ppl that gave us the information that we needed. So we decided that we were going to get up at 4:00 am get ready and everything and head to the park at 5:30. It was completely dead when we got there. Like a few minutes before they were going to open the gates a few other Glamberts showed up but most of them were older fans so we beat them to the gate, there were only two girls that we didn’t beat but they were younger than us so it’s ok. So we were front of the line at our gate. We waited another 2 and a half hours there waiting to get into the park. It was funny because as soon as we all got thru it was a mad dash to the queueing area. And the ppl that were working at the park saying “Don’t run don’t run.” Riiiiiiiiiiight! Tell glamberts not to run when there’s a GA concert ahead of them. CRAZY PEOPLE!
We were with in the first 10 ppl in line. We actually met Jesha84 and her friend, both total sweethearts! And we made friends with the security guard, his name was Jerome. He really liked us in the first part of the section because we were really nice to him and he kept giving us the information that we wanted when we nicely asked. The second security guard we got on the other hand was a total jackass. Wanted to punch his lights out. Anyway, the first 20 or so people we all made like a really good group of friends and we all banded together because there were a few people behind us trying to get in front of us or were going to try to get in front of us but we didn’t let it happen ( three of them were from Miami and they tried to do the same thing there). We got to hear Adam sound check again which was amazing! Tommy waved to me too!!!! After sound check the jackass security guard (Jimmy was his name) kept telling us people in the front that he wasn’t going to let us in until we had a single file line and it wasn’t his responsibility to get us in line. He came over and said that like 3 times and on the 3rd time I turned around and said to him “We have been trying but the people behind us either can’t hear or won’t listen to us because we have no authority, you are the security guard, do your job and move them back because WE CAN’T.” Well he finally got them to move back a little, we had one girl faint, but thank goodness she was ok. And the thing that really pissed me off about Mr. Jimmy was that he was wearing a tiara on his head and one girl said I like your crown. And he corrected her saying that girls should know the difference, and I’m like well not me I wasn’t into the whole princess thing, I was more of a football, kickball, baseball, kinda kid growing up because of my brothers. And he looks at me and he’s like “Then why the hell are you at an Adam Lambert concert” Just wanted to punch his lights out. So apparently because I played sports I’m not allowed to like Adam. Whatever he was a jackass.
So they finally start letting us in (the girls from Miami were pissed because they got pushed back behind us). Leah and I let Jesha and her friend go in front of us because they had never been front row and we let her go in front so she could get video. Well the girls in front of us took Tommy’s side of the stage, so that left front row center wide open. I was the first one to get thru and I claimed that spot like no ones business. We were freaking out! 15 hours of waiting paid off! FRONT ROW CENTER FOR THE FIRST TIME! And surprisingly, Adam would have been on stage in time, if the people running it didn’t take their sweet ass time setting the set lists up and everything. It was only about 10 minutes after 8 that he came on.
All during the night he kept making eye contact with me and Leah and it was amazing. I was dancing around, singing, taking pics, and just enjoying myself. Tommy waved to me a couple of times during the concert too! Adam had come down off the stage one time before Fever and he posed for one girl in the front row who it was their first time seeing him so that was awesome! And then Fever came! He walks down and to our part of the crowd. Everyone was grabbing for him and he kinda slapped their hands but then he came to me and Leah. He took Leah’s hand first and smiled at her for a good 15 seconds. And then he moved over to me. He took my hand and held it in his and literally CHECKED ME OUT! Like looked me up and down and then he said “Hey girl, what’s up?” I about died! I looked over at Leah, Leah looked at me and we had a mini freak out session! It was so amazing! Now people cannot say that he doesn’t know me!!!
He was so on fire that night. And then during Shady, when he sang “go on and roll it out I dare you” I started doing a body roll thing along with him and he just smiled right at me and kinda nodded like “yeah that’s right girl!” It was just an amazing night! He was just so sexual and hilarious and sweaty and delicious. All in all, probably one of the best concerts that I’ve ever been to!

@glamberthaf28…There is a Fever Vid by Jesha84 where you may be able to see yourself..You can see Adam saying to someone in the front row What’s up girl but there is lots of hands and arms but you may be able to pick your arm out of the bunch.lol. It’s a side view but I swear you can see him eyes look down and up again. Or maybe I’m just imagining being able to see his eyes doing it..I don’t know, but you should check it out.

Have not seen or read anything on this Orlando thread but just want to post my thoughts and feelings about the Orlando Universal concert I saw fairly upclose and personal. The Duke and I both feel that this may be the BEST Adam concert that we have personally seen live!! Yes!!
It was hot; Adam was hot (he told us he was “melting”); and he was HOT!!! and ON FIRE all night!!
Adam and the entire band were poised, polished and professional. The band was tight. Thay looked and sounded like they’d been touring and making music forever.
Adam was HAPPY! He exuded happiness. It reminded me somewhat of how he was at Ste Agathe (minus the heat).He really seemed to want to be there and perform (despite the heat).
We were back aways but with a good view–but not as good a perspective as we had when we were “up front…about 4 rows back with floridagirl and Margie3xxx(?) and others until I needed one last bathroom break before the show began. Then we couldn’t get back to that spot easily without pushing and shoving. So we settled for about 10-12 rows back–still a great view. Now we were standing with non glamberts-peeps of all ages–a young teenager with her father, older couples, 29+ women who probably remembered they liked him on Idol; all peeps who did not know the words to the songs except for WWFM and IIHY. And yet, interestingly,ALL were moving to the music, dancing, eyes glued to the stage, enjoying what they were seeing and hearing! It really is true–if Adam’s music could have been heard on the radio–it would have been a hit; it would have sold. You’ve got to HEAR it before you like it. It just didn’t get heard. But these peeps –the non glamberts I stood with– liked what they heard. I could see it.
Those of us in “our group” in Orlando were really amazed and pleased at the quality of this concert. Thinking that it was a FREE show at Universal, we all thought maybe it wouldn’t be one of the standout shows. But it was more than that. It was intense. And it just may be one of the top performances we’ve seen. I don’t know what the vids look like or the pics–I’ll get to those in time-but I was there and it was the BEST show I’ve seen to date …live. Who knows what to expect in SAn Diego. But he’ll have to go some to top this one.

@firstimerob It was right after Trespassing he was starting to walk off stage but then he came back and he slid on his thighs rolled over onto his back and threw his legs in the air!
